Convertible top is stuck in the down position. Says top not secure. Looks like drivers side arm is not in the locked position but passenger side is locked

If you are dealing with a convertible header that gets into a bottom position and displays a "Top Not Secure" message, it is important to follow systematic troubleshooting procedures and it can fix the problem Here are the steps you can take: Manual Override: Check your vehicle's manual for instructions on how to operate the convertible top manually. This may require stopping or using certain devices to manually feed the top. If the top binds due to electrical or sensor problems, crafting can provide a temporary solution to protect the top. Check for obstructions: Check the area around the top of the convertible for any obstructions that may be preventing proper closure. Attachments in the frames or devices may interfere with safe closure of the top. Driver's side arm: If you mark the driver's side arm out of the locked position, try to gently rotate the arm and place it in the locking mechanism. This may include a lock or lock which must be securely fitted and protected. Passenger side arm: Since you said the passenger side is closed, check if there is anything preventing it from opening. Sometimes a small or poorly organized obstacle can cause problems. Sensor check: Reversible tops usually have sensors to detect that the top is properly closed in place. These sensors block the top if it is not properly closed. Check for clogging, dirt, or malfunction of any of these sensors. Battery Voltage : Low battery voltage can sometimes cause electrical problems that prevent the top from working properly. Make sure your car battery is in good condition and fully charged. System Reset: If your vehicle has a control module for the convertible top, you can reset it

Convert battery cables from top post to side mount replacement ends?

If all you are doing is changing to a side post battery, just connect all the positive cables from the old pos post to the new pos holder and all the neg ones to the new neg holder. If you've already cut them all off and not sure where each wire goes, all the reds are positive, all the blacks are neg. To make sure use your continuity meter to test. Connect one meter lead to any good clean metal part on the car and test between each black wire in turn, the neg ones will show a circuit, the pos ones will not.

92 lebaron convertable. When it rains, the top

If you out the top down, on the windshield side posts you will see a small drain tube on each side. When these cars age the sealant used around the drain tubes rends to get crushed and distorted and tends to cover these tubes not allowing the water to drain down the A posts. This causes the water to back up and run down the inside of the A post and under the dash and onto the floor. It's also possible that the window seals are in need of replacement or adjustment.

Can't find the bank 1 sensor 1 Oxygen Sensor

bank 1 refers to your driver's side and bank 2 refers to your passanger side. sensor 1 is pre cat and sensor 2 is post cat. Your vehicle has a v-6 so bank 1 sensor 1 is on the drivers side before the catalytic converter. It will be on your exhaust pipe between your exhaust manifold and your catalytic converter.

Vw convertable top

There are two strings in your top...they are red I believe...look down inside the sides of the top...pull them up to release the tension on the top....then open your trunk lid and on the left side there is a little switch turn it counter clockwise then you should be able to release your top and put it up manually....then latch it into place...then go back to your trunk and turn the switch back....it should work fine

Convertible top will not retract

Do you know where are the two levers on left and right side when open the tailgate? The one you open to raise the soft top from behind?
Well, one of them is not close tight enough. Open it up and close it back. There should be small click from the sensor. Sometimes the sensor won't get engaged and it won't allow opening the top, assuming it's open from the other side.

Check it out

Sebastian
