Question about Logitech Keyboards & Mice

Logitech mouse installed, set left/right incorrectly

I have a macbook and just purchased a v450 nano cordless laser logitech mouse for. when I was performing the logitech setup, i wanted to set the mouse to work for me-I'm left handed. So I clicked on the right side and set it but it was also set as a click for the left side. I 'applied' the change and now I cannot utilize the mouse on windows. I can click on the menu on top but when I open a window and try to click inside of it, nothing happens-both the right click/left click do not do anything. How can I revert things back to how they were originally at? I tried the system settings but cannot click within the window to change anything. Please tell me this can be changed!....

Thanks for the suggestion. Ufortunately, this is a Macbook, there is no control panel - and even if it did have one, the problem was that any window that was opened couldn't be clicked in - mouse nor keyboard click. Fortunately, the macbook is new and didnt have too many new programs on it - I just scratched the hard drive and reinstalled the system/prgrams and reinstalled anything new. It's back to its old self now - but I'm leery of attempting to hook up the logitech mouse again.... maybe once I do a backup I'll try again. Thanks to bilalasd for he try!

If you still have the disk for it you can reinstall the driver by going to the Control Panel > Printer and Other Hardware > Mouse > Hardware (Tab) > (Select Your Mouse) > Properties > Driver(Tab) > Uninstall. After uninstalling put the disk and install the driver.

The moues is plug and play so you don't need anything to use it and its basic functions. You can download set point and connection utility from logitech here to use the mouse's advanced features.

When I click the left button, my v450 nano clicks the right, and when I click the right button, it didnt anything. I use Windows 7. I tested it with Vista and XP, and many computers, and I replaced the...

hello, it sounds like your click buttons are inverted in settings, Try this: go to control panel, double click the mouse icon, select the "Buttons" tab, check settings. These settings are usually in this order:
Left button = Click (default)
Right button = Right-Click (default)
Wheel Button = Instant Viewer (default)
etc...
make sure your right click and left click settings are correct there if not you can change them by click on the dropp down and selecting appropriate setting you prefer. You will also see a option of "Restore Default" a quick way to reset to default settings.

I hope this helps, good luck.

Lost connection between mouse and receiver not listed on logitech site for this model to reconnect down support. v450 nano laser mouse.

The set point program that came with the mouse should have an option to allow you to reconnect the mouse.

Try opening up setpoint and seeing if the option is there for you.

Try restarting your computer with your logitech mouse plugged. If you said you have successfully installed, the system will automatically detect your mouse.
