My whirlpool fridge is making some loud fan like noises as well and not sure what is going on with it. Checked the back and nothing is caught in the fan... would it be the compressor going bad? Its only 3 years old, I hope not!

My refrigerator makes a loud clicking sound when I open the door. If I press the door switch, the clicking sound stops. It sounds like something interfeing with a fan running.

Pull fridge out and listen if noise is comming from compressor or not. If not, then your evaporator fan is comming into contact with the ice from the evap.coil. Basically give unit a good overnight defrost with doors open as the insulation on this fridge is good

Do you think it is the fan in the freezer or could it be the water valve when the icemaker is filling?

GE Refrigerator GSS201EPWW is making a loud noise

This is the fan motor making noise but the fan motor is probably ok. The main board supplies voltage to the motor and can cause it to make strange noises.

My Kenmore refrigerator is making a loud noise when running and when it shuts off it makes a loud clunking noise. Also, it is running about every 10 minutes. The refrigerator is 7 years old.

it sounds like the compressor insides are loose and you will be needing a new compressor, but just check and make sure the rubber mounting feet on the outer compressor base where its mounted to the refrigerator base are all tight and the rubber shocks are all good

WHIRPOOL WASHER LSQ9564MQ0 Started making loud

judging by the description i would say more likely the coupler
its a three peice part that sits between the mototr and transmission, kinda like a clutch,
anyway it is easily repaired
and available on appliancepartspro.com
type in your model number.....
look for motor coupler

Making loud noise, sounds like the fan is off balance when the compressor turns on but could this be a faulty motor instead?

It could be a motor. Make sure the blades are not hitting the shroud. Normally the motor stops working when it goes bad. I have not found one making a noise so loud it was noticeable.

Blower fan in the freezer is making a vibrating

only if the fan noise is driving you crazy. the noise is probaly the motor starting to go out. you can replace it. it might save you money in the long run to replace it, if it goes out you could run into bad food in your fridge.
