Windows does not install the sound drivers . The drivers you require are unique to the unit. You need to know what type of sound board your computer was built with. There is usually a disk for this with all new PC's If you don't have it you will need to look inside and locate the sound module. Some are on the original motherboard and others on separate cards in the slots. If all sound is on the motherboard it may well be a CD that has many different drivers on it for video sound etc etc ( INTEL) or soke other brand. Open the unit and locate any sound board in the slot. If non there then get the mother board details ( model etc) and contact your PC makers support site to download the right drivers for your unit.

All the drivers you want are available from the asrock site even though some parts of your motherboard are from other manufacturers the drivers will have been developed to work with the asrock and were probably written by asrocaround that board.
