The Refrigerator has been making a noise for some time. The noise sounds like a holding coil energizing. It occurs periodically for 5 to 10 seconds and stops. When I first noticed the noise it was not as prominent as it later became. Today we discovered that both the refrigerator and freezer have quit working. The unit is only 3 years old. Please help

Goto the back of it, this could be because of power failure check to see that they're plugged in nice a tighty, if they are, check your fuse box, turn everything off and back on again.
