Yes, this is malware curtsey of MyWebSearch. Download Norman Malware Cleaner from http://www.norman.com/support/support_tools/malware_cleaner/

It's a big file because it includes everything it needs to fix malware on your PC in one file. Scan your ENTIRE harddrive and let it run overnight. You'll need to click the button to fix all the problems and you'll be back to surfing in no time.

Please update me after your scan, because sometimes these malware are embedded deep into your system and it takes multiple tries to fully clean your PC.

Best wishes

C:\PROGRAM~1\mywebs~1\bar\1.bin\mp3plugin.dll

'mywebs' is a malware program that can install itself and/or install upon request to the user. You do *not* want this on your system, and will want to perform the following to remove its operational strings from registry:

http://free.antivirus.com/hijackthis/

Opening the program, have it scan (not scan and fix) your registry.

Then, find any entries for 'mywebs', and select them, then click clean/remove/fix.

After they have been removed, navigate to your C:\Program Files\ folder, find the 'mywebs' folder, hold shift and press the delete key. You will be asked if you wish to permanently delete 'mywebs'. When prompted to do so, click on 'yes', and tell Windows to restart. After it has finished restarting, run HiJackThis again and ensure that the entries it previously removed have not recreated themselves.

If they have, please post here with a follow up response.

Need download of m3plugin.dll

Un-install the program through windows Add/remove programs.
See the link provided below;
progra-1-mywebs-1-bar-1-bin-mp3plugin-dll">http://en.kioskea.net/forum/affich-167900-c-progra-1-mywebs-1-bar-1-bin-mp3plugin-dll
Tip. This program allows adware and spy-ware into your system without you're knowledge. However if you still want it try a re-install after removing it at; http://download.mywebsearch.com/

Good luck.

C:\PROGRA~1\MYWEBS~1\bar\2.bin\M3PLUGIN.DLL

Is every program running fine? It is a registry file - in other word a file that is the basis for all programs. If every program is running fine, you can delete by start>run>and type regedit or if in Vista start>and type regedit. Use the path in the error (C:\PROGRA~1\MYWEBS~1\bar\2.bin\M3PLUGIN.DLL) to find the file and delete it.

C:PROGA~1\MYWEBS~1\bar\1.bin\MP3PLUGIN.DLL

I am running XP. I went to RUN - MSCONFIG, then go to START tab. You will find an entry for this DLL. Uncheck to box, choose APPLY, and restart your PC, the nagging pop up on restart should be gone.
