Rear brakes on passanger sided is locked up or does not un lock on my 1999 chevy silverado 4x4 1500 what could be the probleom

My auto window's will not lock. Horn blow's if all in back and passangers windows are locked manually. I can lock the drivers side if the passanger side winder is unlocked. Can you help me?

Have it scanned to read the codes in the Komfort/Secuity controller (ECU) A dealer or independent shop can do this.

There are micro switches in the door locks that fail.

As far as rear passenger problem...remove the lower rear seat bolster and check for wire/s being crushed between the seat frame and floor pan.

How do you change the dust covers on the rear brakes of a 1999 Silverado Z71?

You need to remove the axle shafts. Remove the differential cover, pinion shaft and c-locks. Then you can unbolt the backing plates and transfer the park brakes.

I got a 1999 chevy silverado 4x4 and the rear end was bad so i put anothr one in it and now when i put it in 4wd it drags to rear tires and i checked the gears and they are the same 373 gear ratio as what...

WELL IF YOU CHANGE THE REAREND THAT DONT HAVE NOTHING TO DO W/PUTTING IT 4 WHEEL DRIVE BECAUSE ITS THE FRONT ONE THAT LOCKS IN . MAYBE YOU BRAKES ARE DRAGGING ON THE REAR END ADJUST BRAKES AN SEE IF THAT HELPS .

Location of wiper motor 1999 chevy silverado

under hood drivers side on fire wall between engine and brake master cylinder take off wiper arms slide tab at bottom lift off -- un- screw cowl the cowl is in 3 parts -unscrew center with hood closed first the screws are recessed about an 1-1/2 below the top of cowl open hood and unscrew the both sides of cowl and remove than remove center watch the washer hoses now will have access to the wiper transmission mark where transmission is before unbolting motor and transmission remove motor install is in reverse

Passanger back brake light out but all other

Follow the wire harness down to the junction box were the wire harness plugs into under the truck adn ck for corrosion especialy if you live in a snowy area corrosion due to road salt.

When I put my 1997 Chevy Silverado in reverse, it seems like the wheels lock up (like I put it in park even though I didn't). Any ideas?

cuold be the rear brake adjust over , or maybe the Ebrake cabel lock and need replace , or maybe some brake cylinder or the brake master cylinder lock
