Question about HP Pavilion dv6000z Notebook
I have just changed my battery (it wasn't charging at all even though was plug in and both the battery and the charger were getting very hot) and it's charching but the charchers is still very hot!! is that normal or i need to change my charcher too??????
Some chargers do run a bit on the hot side. Check your charger with an ohm meter to see if it's getting the proper output. If not, then the charger is struggling to run the machine, and this is causing it to heat up. Also keep in mind that if the charger isn't getting the proper output to the machine, it can damage the new battery or the machine, and will need to be replaced.
