Xerox WorkCentre XD100 Digital Copier

L6:The Main PWB sensed a Polygon motor lock signal error.

That is related to the mirror motor within the laser.
The laser most likely needs to be replaced.

Troubleshoot xerox workcentre xl2140df we have an error code E5?

An E-5 Normally comes from the paper path actuator that detcts the second side of a copy is hanging up.
In the fuser area there are some corrigated looking parts of the fuser exit guide that the actuator is most likely hitting or hanging up on.
You may have to take a pair of diagional cutters and snip a small section of that out.E-5 is a jam on duplex copies on that machine.

Guest.
The L6 indicates the machine is not seeing the motor in the laser, that rotates the mirrors.
There are 3 possibilities, I will list them in order of probability.
1 The Laser unit itself.
2. The cable connection on the Main Board.
3. The Main Board itself.
The laser depending on the lens, Curved or straight is $323 and $393.
the main board will cost in the $250-$400 range depending on the vendor.
That is without labor.
