Toshiba laptop 2 years old, the screen is black. The laptop turns on but get no screen.

You can try connecting an external monitor and if you can get to the CMOS/BIOS you can verify that the active screen is your laptop screen. If everything is OK on the BIOS, then probably your laptop screen is broken. To enter the Bios use F2 or F10 (depending on model) when booting.

Hi, i have problem with screen on my laptop, there is crack and screen has to be replaced. Can you please find out me total price and how long would it take? ACER 6920G. 16 inches screen

The actual time required to replace the screen isn't long. Normally there are only a few screws to remove and a cable or two to unplug. The screen will cost you quite a lot. A Google search just gave me 3 sites offering screens all in the $400 range. Labor for this kind of repair will like be around $100 at most shops.

Unfortunately, repairing a broken screen on a laptop almost always costs more than a new laptop.

Laptop Screen is broken

Laptop screens are usually very pricey to fix. Chances ar eyou will need a new one , and the price of a new one + labor for someone to install it usually isn't worth it. For the same price you can purchase a brand new one!

Hi, I have an Acer Aspire 5920G. My problem is when the laptop is switched on it sounds like it's booting but the screen stays blank? Have you any idea what can cause this? Regards, Dan Pook...

Hello
I think your graphics card or screen is broken on your Acer Aspire 5920G, one thing you can test is to connect at external monitor to your laptop. If you dont get any picture then its your graphic card broken, if you get picture it is your screen. also try to adjust the screen light.

Lcd screen is broken

What kind of screen? And how is it broken?
If it's for a desktop, you should just buy a new monitor.
If it's on a laptop, you have a bigger problem.

My screen is broken

It won't turn on, it's showing only blue, there's an error message, it's literally broken, what?

Is it a laptop screen or a desktop monitor? If it's a laptop screen, you'll probably have to buy a replacement. If it's a monitor, make sure the power cord is plugged into the wall and the back of the monitor itself, and that the monitor is connected to the tower.

Screen is blank unless a flashlight is shown on the screen. Prior to this happening laptop was dropped and the left hinge broke off. Could something else have broken off?

sounds like the backlight system of your screen is broken. You may have to take it to a laptop repair shop, preferably an authorized service center to have it fixed
