If your TV looks 3D, warped, or distorted it likely has a convergenge problem.
If however it just looks dull, washed out, redish, greenish, or blueish or if it looks like objects on the screen have halos the fluid in the lens has soured.
You can search google for parts or you can get the parts with repair instructions from sites such as www.TvRepairKits.com

Open the front panel. Just to the left of the RCA imputs is a small button that says reset. You may need to use a pen or paper clip to press it. Press that and the system will reset .That should fix your issue, or do like me and get a Sharp. LOL. My bulb went out 2 times and I got irritated with it.

This may be due to failure of the power supply or related circuits, the burning may of been a capacitor or capacitors that may of exploded, changing these will return the set to normal.

Have a blue screen and sound, and when i click my input buttons i only have ant-A and ant-B no inputs 1-2-3 or dvd

I would call Mitsubishi if you have the original remote the set may have (most do) a hard reset that will restore all inputs.

It consists of a 4 digit code by model number, I have a list of the codes somewhere(I am on the road today) and with the set on you enter the numbers and the set turns off and comes back on reset.

I have a Mitsubishi VS-50604. The sound is working but the screen is blue. No picture. What is the problem?

andychen993,

Depending on how you have your unit hooked up you may have a switch in the wrong position or not have a signal to the TV. Blue screen is the option if no video signal is present. Is your audio going through an amplifier? If so check all the signal feeds to verify that you have a signal going to the TV.

The easiest way to check this would be to hook a DVD up directly to the TV using a separate audio and video cable. If you still have a blue screen I would go into the menus and see if the settings are correct for blue screen.

If everything checks out ok then you probably have a bad small signal board and will need to replace it.

I have a tip at http://www.fixya.com/support/r4425498-basic_standard_tv_troubleshooting which could be helpful to troubleshoot your unit. It explains how to troubleshoot a dead TV but the procedure is the same to isolate a defective board.

PIP is causing problems

You are lucky in that this is problem you can solve yourself with a little diligence. The set has defaulted to the 'Theater Mode'. It happens frequently with this model. It is merely a setting in the customer menu. Go into either SETUP or ADVANCED SETTINGS and look for something refering to 'Thearter Mode' and turn it off. An owners manual would help locate it.
