In Windows Explorer - right click on drive A and choose Copy disk..., then choose copy to B:
Or download DriveImage software which will let you make an image of a floppy disk and then you can change floppy disk and write the image to the new floppy disk,

New E machine. Have no installation disk with pc. cannot start just tells me to insert Boot media into device and hit any key... If any key hit just copies the above numerous times.

It sounds like you may have a disk or floppy in one of the drives that is listed first or second in the boot priority, ahead of the hard disk. If that is the problem just take out the floppy or CD or DVD.

I have an old e machine Tower Mod.667IR S/N QA309-108-O2995 no manual on hand. Please advise correct drawer ID. Top drawer C or D ? Mid drawer C or D ? Which drawer is the Burn drawer? Bottom...

Your master hard drive will be C, slave hard drive or top media drive will be D, and so on unless you have reconfigured them from the factory setup. Floppy disks only have 1.44 megabytes on them, so easiest way to copy data from them is just to drag and drop all the files into a folder on your desktop. Insert a blank CD-R into your writeable drive...win 2000 will open a blank cd window. drag and drop the files you wish to copy into the blank cd window and click "burn these files to disc". A CD-R has 700 megabytes on it, so roughly 675 floppy discs can be copied to a single CD-R.

If you are using a floppy disk to install and it wants to format the disk that means it can not read it and is assuming that it is new and needs formatting. It is possible that the duplicating machine wrote a disk with track that are too wide for the floppy that you have. Go to another system and see if it exhibits the same error. It is possible the floppy is corrupt, if it is ok make a copy of the software on the working computer and try teh copy on the offending unit.

You need to make your floppy bootable by formatting with the "copy system files" option set. Then copy your autoexec.bat file to it, or you could simply type NETRUN and press ENTER from the c:> prompt once you've booted. (What's the operating system?)

IBM PS 1 will not diskcopy floppy disk. error message says "drive types or diskette types not compatible". Data is on diskette but at Circuit city they tell me it reads blank. Command DIR A shows...

ibm ps 1 computer uses older type floppies either 360kb or 720kb these cannot alway be read by modern computers also to copy these you have to use the same capacity disks most disks are the HD versions 1.44MB. the older drives. If i remember right you can tell the 1.44mb disks by an extra hole on the disk.

I am trying to replace windows 2000proffesional with windows Xp by floppy disk and it says "page fault in non-paged area

hi there
xp on floppy ?
you would need over a hundred disks to do it that way, have you got that many ?.
as xp was never released on floppy, somebody has tried to chop it up to fit so my advice would be that you will encounter a lot more errors, give it up as a bad job and borrow a copy of windows on cd from some one.

Need a disk to set up my maxtor drive

The disk that u need is maybe provide by your motherboard vendor. It's in your motherboard driver & device cd provided when u purchase the pc. Try to search the "sataraid or satarid floppy" in the cd. Then copy it into a 3.5 floppy disk. Remember, the files or folder that u will need to copy must have the txtsetup.oem file.

Can you put a memorex 2 hd 3.5 in your laptop to scan pictures? if so how do you remove the disk from the plastic cover?

You can't remove this cover, if you do it will be damaged permanently. If your laptop have a floppy drive then you can do , if not there is a few ways around it, put the floppy in your desktop floppy drive and copy pictures to my pictures folder and then send them to your email address or place them as documents and do an attachment, but you must be able to insert this 2hd in a (floppy drive) or you can copy this disk to a memory stick!

You could try to start from the Disk Tools PPC (can be found here; the Disk Copy 6.3.3 utility, and another Mac with a floppy drive, would be required to make a bootable floppy from the disk image). Otherwise, an appropriate version of the operating system on CD will be needed.
