Please try this and let me know if it works.

  1. Change to flightmode.
  2. Then power off the device.
  3. Restart it and change to normal mode.
Also do a factory reset. The default passcode is 1122.

WLAN and Mute button lights are not on

Usually the wlan button is off because you're WLAN is not on, you need to locate this button and press it to enable your WLAN. The button is usually located on either the upper left or upper right corner of your keyboard. You will know if you hit the correct button because you'll get a pop up on the lower left corner of your screen saying that WLAN is on.

You can click on Start > All Programs > Accessories > Run > on the Run Window type in services.msc > press enter > then scroll and look for WLAN Configuration > it has a start or stop option, make sure that the button start is grayed out or press on start to enable wlan

you sould be getting a message again telling you that wlan is enable or already on

Hope this help you a bit. Have a great day

Hey I have a problem, my chineese iphone 4- when i try to call it makes a message: " not allowed do dial" and I can't change my prefferred mode from WLAN only to GSM only.. how to fix it?...

Not Allowed to Dial Error Message on a SciPhone i68 4Gsciphone-i68-4g.pngI recently purchased a SciPhone 4G with a dual sim card phone. I was very happy with this phone. I had no problems until one day I couldn't call out. I kept getting a not allowed to dial message every time I tried to call anyone.
I could still receive calls and send and receive texts but I couldn't call out. After quite a bit of research on the internet I came up with a solution. None of the solutions available had all the information I needed I just kept trying different combinations until it worked.
Here is the step by step solution I used to remove the "not allowed to dial" message and allow me to dial out again.
  1. turn off the phone
  2. place 2 sims on the phone
  3. restart the phone
  4. keep the WLAN disabled
  5. enter the engineering mode * # 82043036 #
  6. select the option RF Test Tool (on my phone it's option 13)
  7. Select GSM, to accept him
  8. go to Power scan
  9. go to Band Select and select OK DCS1800
  10. another screen will appear (model F003) look at each of the options until you find one that will have your phone appear unresponsive (this locked)
  11. pressing the main button (the box) will take you to the home screen
  12. go to the setup menu
  13. go to network settings menu SIM1
  14. this is a preferred mode
  15. select one of the preferred modes GSM or WILAN
  16. restart the phone and you should be ready to make calls
sciphone-i68-4g.jpgYou just enter the code/s into the phone number area in the dial section and the phone will recognize it and enter into the proper mode.
I still love this phone. It has built in WIFI so I can surf the internet with out having to have a data plan from my service provider. I use T-Mobile.
Here are the particulars on my SciPhone:
Mode: i68 Quad Band Phone
Specifications:
  • Dual SIM
  • Dual Standby
  • WiFi
  • Bluetooth

"not allowed to dial" problem with Cesim A9530 --> SOLVED

Hello everybody,

after playing arround for a while, collecting a lot of other information from
the net, I got the problem solved with my phone:

01. Make sure two SIMs are online with good coverage, WLAN
switched off.

02. Press the "call"-button and type in *#9646633#

03. The phone shows "Engineer mode" with a menu of 10 different
items.

04. Go to No. 10 "RF test tool", using the up/down button at the left
side of the mobile.

05. Choose "GSM"

06. A message shows up "Wifi....blabla", just confirm with OK
07. Choose "Power Scan"

08. Select your local GSM frequency (in my case DSC 1800 for
Germany) and press OK.

09. The mobile will freeze now, because its adjusting itself. Leave it like
this for about 2-3 minutes and wait !!!

10. Connect your mobile via USB cable to a PC, DO NOT CONFIRM
any connection mode at your mobile, just and ONLY connect the
cable!!!

11. Press the Menu button (second from the left, the one with the seven
small dots on it) until you are at the main menu with the 12 icons on
the display.

12. Go to "Settings" --> "Network Setup" --> "SIM1 network setup"

13. Go to "Preferred mode" and choose "GSM preferred" or "GSM
only"

14. The mobile will switch to your selection, but the message that it
will stays on display. Do not press anything else, just wait for about
10 - 15 seconds.

15. Disconnect the USB cable from the phone, it will show you that it
has switched to your selection.

16. Get back to main menu, switch off and restart the mobile
--> DONE.

I hope my "weekend job" is helping a lot of other people to get rid of this
annoying problem. Please bomb your supplier with emails, so maybe
we do get a general solution to this problem. Next I will check why I do
not get the "Opera Mini 3" working, maybe an update is necessary first.

"Not allowed to dial" new c5000 wi-fi phone

Guys I had the same problem with the k599 Sciphone and none of the solutions found on the internet helped me. New chinese models tend to restart after testing is over and this results in turning the wifi application on. So I spent many hours on thinking how to bypass this function and this morning I woke up with an idea that really worked!! The steps are quite similar with the ones followed to debug older models:

put 2 chips on cell
Disable WLAN.
1-enter in factory mode *#3646633#
2-go to RF Test Tool
3-choose GSM, confirm OK!
4-go to Power scan
5-Select Band DCS1800 click OK
6-the cell frozen
7-wait for 3 minutes testing
8-while testing connect to a pc using the USB cable (do NOT select ANY of the options appearing on the cell screen)
9-Click the CENTER button of the cell until you go back to principal menu
10-go to settings/network settings and choose GSM Preferred or any other option (except WLAN only!!)

In this way the cell does not reboot, and the wifi application stays off, so the option can now be changed...

Hope this helps!
