1. Flue gas vent switch tripped. (manual reset) 1. Verify proper fan operation. Check for restriction or blockage of flue. Reset switch after problem is corrected. 2. Vent switch fault. 2. Identify and correct loose connections or replace switch. Refer to qualified service personnel. 3. Fusible link fault 3. Identify and correct loose connections or replace fusible link.

This happens when the flue gases exceed a certain temperature. This only happens when there is a failed switch, or a bad burn created by incorrect gas or intake air, high wind scenerio or other similar incident to create an incorrect burn.
You may reset the switch manually, but it will most likely happen again, and if it does, its best to call out a technician.
