What do you mean by low profile most time if you have a normal size case with plenty of clearance around its slot almost any card will do
The most important thing is the correct type of card AGP or PCI-E and they all have a rating PCI-E can be 4X 8X or 16X and a higher rating will not work in alower rating board
first find the details about your M/board and let me know

This is usually a sign that there is a hardware or driver problem. Try removing the latest hardware that you have fitted since the system was working properly. And I would also suggest that you check that the graphics card you have is good enough for the game you are trying to play. There is a great site that will tell you if your system is capable of playing just about any game. it is called "can i run this" Follow the instructions on the website and search for the game you wish to run.

Error in play crysis 2 unsupported videos card

It looks like your card is below the minimum requirements for this game. You will need a faster (newer) card to run this game. It's not surprising, as many of these shooters have very high system requirements, and your 3-4 year old card probably wouldn't cut it even if it did work.

The good news is that a new card will run it faster and look better. Since your old card is PCIE 2.0 compatible, make sure that your new one is also 2.0 compatible. (Unless you know for sure that the mainboard supports PCIE 2.1) PCIE 2.0 cards will work on 2.1 mainboards, but the opposite is not true.

HP slimline 7320 needs larger video card

I checked out the specs on your computer, and it does have a single upgrade slot, of the PCI variety. Don't confuse this with PCIE, which is totally different.
To make it fit in your PC, some video cards come "low profile ready", which means the circuit board is narrow enough, and they include a narrow bracket for mounting in the slim computers. They leave it to you to switch out the bracket, which is usually a couple of screws. Pretty easy to switch out.
There is two major drawback to this suggestion:
  1. PCI is not the preferred connection for graphics cards (it has a slower interface, and thus lacks pretty much all more powerful cards).
  2. You may have to remove an existing card (a modem, or network card, perhaps) to make it available.
If you are a gamer (you want to play 3D games on it), I would hold off and save your pennies for a more capable machine. This is not it.
Otherwise, there are several acceptable (not great, but OK) low profile cards out there. Look for low-profile and PCI in the description. I know newegg has a bunch of different models available in the $35-175 range. Just make sure whatever you get is low profile & PCI.
That should get you going. Let me know if you have other questions.

GEFORCE FX 5500 video quality low, slow motion videos and games

well if your trying to game on a pc the 5500 isnt quite sufficient. If you dont know about nvidia you are about 5 generations back of days cards. So the card wont handle any of todays games. If your really trying to game i suggest you build/buy a new rig. But as far as playing videos, quality should be good. Try goin to nvidia.com and downloading the newest drivers.

Need a new slim, low power gfx card

Hello,

I would advise your friend to ugrade that PSU first. 450-500w at least. Depending upon your friends preference, both ATI and Nvidia offer decent cards for under 100 bucks. For the $200.00 he could upgrade both. Check out www.newegg.com. Thats where I buy all my stuff.

Good Luck!
