I own the same washer. First see if you are getting the "IU" or any other error code. I would do the following

1) Check to make sure the water supply valve, where the hoses connect (just bear with me!) is on. hoses should be "stiff" with water pressure.
2) Check for a link in the hoses which may be blocking water flow
3) Unplug the machine
4) Remove the water supply hoses at the machine end.
5) Remove the plastic orange and blue "screens" and check for blockage
6) Clean and reinstall screens and hoses, make certain all connections are tight
7) Turn on water supply.
8) put load in washer and turn on the run normal cycle
9) Listen for the water valves to open. If you down hear valve opening, it could be a bad valve
10 Check washer to see if water is entering
11) If none of these solves the issue..call for service.

Good Luck!

LG WM2277HW washer not filling with water. All filters and water pressure checked, still not enough water to get the clothes clean. Any ideas?

PRESSURE SWITCH
Your pressure switch stops the water and allows it to start the next cycle. It's a switch either in the control panel or at the top of the tub with a small tube connected to it which goes down between the inner and outer tub. As the water level increases the air in the tube is compressed until there is enough pressure to "make the switch" stopping the water from filling. This tube can get clogged and the switch won't work. Remove the tube and clean it out. Blowing on the tube when it's still connected to the switch will make the switch if it's working and clear.

Water inlet valve

If it fills with water and starts the cycle and the water keeps running in then your water inlet valve on the back where the water supply comes in is sticking. It needs replacing.

Spinning cycle

Keeping in mind that the soap & bleach gets dispensed into your wash on the second to last rinse cycle and that most all rinse cycles are in cold water. Is your cold water valve screen plugged causing your washer to rinse poorly? Are you using the HE detergent? If not maybe the washer is sudsing up to much and having a hard time rinsing all the suds and bleach out and leaving the clothes soapy.

Fill the washer up with no clothes in it on a cold/cold wash setting does it take a long time to fill the washer up? Also when it is full and agitating is there suds in the washer?

Last suggestion is if the drain is hose is a lot higher than the top of the washer it might have a hard time draining out all of the soap water before the next load

WM2277HW LG WASHER FE error code, but water keeps going into washer when power is off, also had to turn off water valve. How can i fix this?

you need to replace the inlet valve fe means fill error the valve is stuck open this is the most common way to flood your house with a appliance usually they get stuck shut and you cant get any water in. then every now & then one can get stuck open & if you put the machine on and go out it will flood the whole house.

FE errror code, can fill valve be replaced by owner?

FE Over Flow Error

• Water is overflowing (water level frequency is over 213).

If FE is displayed, the drain pump will operate to drain the water automatically.

(may be too much suds ...)

WM2277HW Service Manual
0r
Locate your service manual behind the kick panel of the machine.

FE means overflow condition.

Before replacing the fill valve sand or trash may have gotten into the tube going from tub to water level switch.

So find that hose and blow it out. Remove the standing water and retry.

My LG washer wm2277hw does not drain water and

either drain pump itself is broken or something jammed in between the pump housing and pump impellor. the drain hose itself or pump cleanout cup (behind lower left access panel) may be clogged too.

Try unplugging and replugging. Apparently it does a reset of something. It worked for me. I would make sure you don't have to much laundry in the machine too.

WM2277HW LG washer, not doing anything but filling with water and

Could be a few things, but start by, opening the lower front left panel (use a large flat screw driver or knife to pop it open), drain the tub (using the stoppered hose on the left) and then unscrew the filter. See if there is anthing stuck in here. If not, you could have a bad pump (there are two - one for recycling water back into the tub and one for draining).
