Hi Tony,
This Is A Firmware Problem With Your MP Player.
The Firmware, Is A Small Program Flashed Onto A Memory Chip In The Player.
Whats Probably Happened Is That The Firmware ( the MP3 Players Operating System Instruction ) Has Been Corrupted.
Some Players are supported By The Manufacturer, to have firmware update downloads. wherby you,ll download a small file, and re-flash the device.
****Warning a Firmware Flash May Render Your Device unusable**** If the Flash Is Corrupt Or Incomplete, The Device May never Function Again. it is suggested that if a firmware update is downloadable, you should only download from a reliable source. And Backup your Existing Firmware If and Where possible. Always follow the manufacturers Instruction To The Procedures Listed.
**** Alternative Option:- If the Player Is Detected As A device by your Computer. You Can Right Click And Format. This Can Sometimes Remedy The Problem, But May Also render The Device Useless. Do Some Research For Attempting Either.

Sorry, you need to provide more information on this question. What is the number on your sport flash player? Are you using Windows Media Player or Musicmatch Jukebox as your download program? Is your Sport Flash Player connected to your computer with the proper cable?
My suggestion on your sketchy description is don't use "urge", just hit the "sync" button and follow the directions from there.
