Location cmos battery fujitsu siemens amilo pro V2000

Hello there,

I need to replace my cmos battery on my laptop, but I have no clue where that small battery would be situated. Already I tried to look it up on the internet but I can't find any suitable answers.

Can anyone please help me?

The cmos battery is under the keyboard - NOT back side. Take out he main battery on the back first. Losen the hinged part by the keyboard with a tiny screwdriver or knife starting at the "insert" key. Continue along to the "F1" key. Then lift up just the keybord about at key "F7" and push it a bit forward. The battery is about under the "E" key. I just did it. No main password requierd.

Remove main cover on reverse - there will be a small (2cm) flat battery 'probably under some electrical tape' - good luck

do not remove the main cover on reverse , wrong instructions .........i have just removed my cmos battery ...remove clip cover that covers the speakers and were the on button is , be careful as there are 2 small wires attached , now carefully remove the key board , it just clips in on at the sides , watch out for the cable attached . the cmos battery is to the left , it will be round , blue and is attached by a red and black cable , give it a gentle pull as it is only stuck down with a bit of black sticky tab ......

Reset bios password

First make sure battery is out and it is not plugged in then take off the bottom of the notebook and look at the motherbord and locate a small CMOS battery (See Picture) and remove the battery. Leave the battery out for about ten minutes and then put the battery back in and put the bottom of the notebook back on. When you start up your notebook and boot into bios your bios will be completley reset.
