Slow water flow from refrigerator dispenser

The technician is correct and you could take a water sample from a normal faucet and send it in to see how high the particulate and turbidity is. Then you can decide about a whole house filter. They can be expensive so get bids.

My RSG307AA icemaker is not working. When I reset, the cycle starts, feeler arm drops, and fill tube starts to fill ice tray with water, but water abruptly shuts off after 2-3 secs and beeps. HELP!! The...

I've had issues with our Samsung refrigerator icemaker, and here are some thoughts: 1) A technician told me (and replaced) an inline water heater, which sounds strange at first. But its purpose is to keep the water from freezing and clogging the line before it can go to the icemaker itself; 2) the line may be clogged due to excessive calcium deposits. Another repair tech told me if you're in "hard water" country (I am) you'll probably be replacing the line and related apparatus that goes to the back of the unit "every couple of years". The fact that your water dispenser is working rules out a clogged filter.

What does the error code "lF" mean

Do you mean "LF" if so that's a "long Fill" code. usually means the machine is taking to long to fill. Check your water supply line. Make sure the faucets are fully open, no kinks in the hose's or sediment in any inline filters etc.

Hi, I have the 1600 NG tankless water heater. Everything works great, but I installed low flow hot faucets throughout the house and now the igniter will not click on. It works for the washing machine. ...

http://waterheatertimer.org/Troubleshoot-Bosch-Tankless-water-heater.html#flow
1) Tankless require minimum flow rate before burner will activate.
2) Sounds like the water pressure drops quickly when faucet turns on. This implies combination of problems including sediment build up inside lines, crossover at single-handled faucet, or sediment filter clogged or water softener clogged.
3) Low flow faucets can reduce needed flow rate.
4) Other problems can contribute: sensor failure, loose wires, PC board failure, high temperature setting, cold incoming water temperature during winter months.

I am losing water pressure, but only on the hot side. Cold pressure is fine, as you add hot the pressure fades, the hotter the less pressure. This is at all points in the house. The water heater was...

You have a clog in the hot water line.
If problem is at one faucet, then remove aerator and clean, then disassemble lines underneath sink.

If problem is at every faucet, then that moves search close to water heater.
Look at hot water line that exits water heater and trace that line to first Tee.
Look at cold water line that enters water heater and trace that line to Tee.
Clog is located between those 2 Tees.

Buy pressure tester that connects to hose thread.
geno_3245_251.jpg
Connect pressure gauge to hot water heater drain valve.
Then conduct same test you did at faucet.
See if pressure drops at tank.

If pressure drops, then clog is on cold side of tank, and probably hot side too.
If pressure does not drop, then clog is on hot side of tank.

Suspect 1 is any place two different metals join. For example galvanized pipe and copper.
Suspect 2 is supply pipes that exit top of tank. Take apart and look inside pipes for corrosion and sediment lining pipe walls.
Suspect 3 is elbow. Disassemble pipes and look for sediment and flakes of rust.
Suspect 4 is all suspects above, each having sediment and corrosion.

Hi, we installed the toilet two days ago and it was working fine. It has just stopped refilling. I do not see anything wrong.

there is likely a sediment build up either in the fill valve of the toilet or possibly in the supply line. You can try shutting off the water to the toilet, disconnecting the supply line from the tank and running the water into a bucket to see if the toilet is getting a water supply. If so, then you may need to replace the fill valve. For future reference:
Any time you install a new toilet or remove and reinstall a toilet, it is a good idea to flush the water lines (as described above) before replacing the fixture. This can help to remove sediment from the water lines and the Shut off valve and prevent the sediment from building up (and eventually clogging) the fill valve.
