Problem for Disney Disney Princess DVD Player
Disney dvd player wont play movies (dvd) but plays music (cd) fine
Our princess DVD/CD player sometimes won't play/read dvd's. I tried cleaning with a laser disc cleaner, making sure the disc isn't dirty and still won't recognize that there is a disc. Or when it recognizes a disc is stay on the blue screen. I press play anyway, and it sometimes starts the movie like nothing was ever wrong. Does anyone have any suggestions?

- I can't get the tray to close on my daughter's dvd player. It seems to be on the track and will retract about 1/4" but then it stops and the screen says tray error. I've never had this problem before... and I don't want to break it by forcing it... - LylisDec 16, 2008
- My daughters' DVD will not play movies. In the upper right hand corner it just displays a question mark. I tried to clean it with a DVD disk cleaner and I still have the problem. Pretty disappointing considering how much I paid for it. I have a cheep $40.00 DVD player and it has worked for years.- Sheri816Solution #1

Might be the type of movie - some of them are only able to play "G" ratings. Try this: click <play> 1234 <play> It will likely unlock the dvd that is in and will begin to play. You will have to do the 'code' each time, or there's an unlock program you can purchase.
