If it will not turn over it has probably sized, remove the muffler and take a look at the piston skirt through the exhaust port, and sign of scuffing or damage and the saw will have to come apart to inspect the amount of damage.

Was using saw ran fine stopped and returned next day will not start fuel fine new plug filterers gas and air still wont start took to local chain saw repair shop they said that because it had water in gas...

check the carburetor. If you have a stiff diaphragm then it won't run.
I have seen them that behave just like that. They will run fine, turn it off for a few minutes then they won't restart. WD40 isn't going to get it to run either, try a small amount of mixed gas right into the carb. It should run for a minute until the gas you put in runs out then die. If it doesn't run then you have a bigger problem

Ran out of gas put gas in wont start, pulled spark plug and put a little gas in ,it fired but wont stay running, the primmer bulb seems to be not working

Hate to tell you this but if you didn't mix oil with the gas properly (most likely a 40:1 ratio) then the chain saw will seize up and won't work again.

My father-in law tried to ajujst the hi low screws on our wild thing 2375 it stalled and will not start now can you advise what to do to make run again please. thanks scott

Screw both H ande L screws fully in, now back them out L one and a half turns and H one and a quarter turns, the saw should start at this, fine adjustment will be needed to get good pick up and idle on the L screw, the H screw controls the max rpm, do not exceed 12500 rpm.

Do I have to use ethanol free gasoline?

It had better do so--or any saw brand that fails to run on ethanol blended fuels will see sales fall rapidly in the USA. We, personally, own one of these same saws which (when new) ran great for about 3 days, then refused to start. A trip to the warranty repair station got us a new ignition module. After return, it ran for about two days, then would not start again. The warranty repair then installed a replacement carburetor and about a year later, still seems to be working fine--it's a great hard working saw when it operates correctly. Good luck!

Saw wont start

Think about joining the Army and tell your dad. This will take your dad mind off the saw while he is trying to change your mind to stay in school.

Actually 32:1 mix is richer than 50:1 meaning it shouldn't overheat the saw piston.

Is the gas fresh? Is the mix actually correct? It very hard to see a spark from a two cycle engine. You also need to pull the starting rope very fast for it to operate.

My guess the plug is fouled out it needs to be clean again or replace.

ML430 run out of gas and it won't start

you need to bleed the system, turn key to run postion then wait two seconds and turn off again do this a dozen times then hold foot pedal to floor and crank engine, this will clear fault codes and prime system then it should start, if you need more help post here for more information.

Chain saw emitted sparks and now does not start.

Hi

When the engine get warm and die(I suppose)check the spark at the sparkplug. You can let the saw run until it ran out of gas and you will not distroy the engine.Change the sparkplug.

Used wrong gas can and ran saw on pure gasoline.

if your saw didnt lock up ,or overheat it should run again, take out spark plug, with switch off, put your thumb over the hole and check for compression when you pull the cord. if it pops your finger off the hole you probably didnt cook the rings, or burnt the piston, the raw gas may have washed the cylinder down enough to temporarily lose compression (lack of oil seal). refill tank with proper gas/oil mix, squirt a small amount of oil in cylinder and pull it thru a few times , this should seal up the rings again , put in a new sparkplug, and try normal cold start, you may have to clean the plug a couple times before it runs. if it runs but lacks power my guess is the rings got to hot and lost their temper or scored the cylinder. dont use alcohol blended gas this will ruin fuel lines , they soften up and fall apart etc. premium regular if you can get it, check the fuel line to be safe for pinholes as they will **** air and not start if you get alcohol blended gas. anyway good luck. geo_1
