Hi billabongwanmy name is Mike Houston of DISH Network and what you will need to do isreprogram the remote. You will need to take the TV2 remote to the TV1 location,on the TV1 remote press the MENU button two times and it will take you to theSystem Info screen. You will then press and release the SAT button and pressthe record button one time on the TV2 remote. I will leave the link to helpwith these steps.

If you are unable to access the TV menu using the buttons on the TV itself it is possible you can with the TV2 remote if it still controls the volume etc. for this TV. If it doe not you will need to find a code for your set in the manual for the receiver or you can go to the following link to find that info as well.http://tech.dishnetwork.com/departmental_content/TechPortal/content/tech/receiver/625.shtml Assuming you have control of the volume still press the small TV button on the top left of the remote. Now press the menu button and you may be able to access the TV's menu. If so you need to run a channel scan/auto program the TV. You may need to use the buttons on the TV still to maneuver through the menu. If you are still unable to access the menu you may need to purchase a universal to access the menu.
Just to clarify is your screen snowy or blank? I ask because you did say it was set to a channel. If you just need to program the remote to the reciver all you have to do is whiile your rcvr is on pull the sc out on the left hand side. That will take you to a screen that says system info and at the very bottom of that screen you will see remote address. Note the number in the white box. Now all you have to do is press record on the remote( should be right above the number 3 key). Then your remote should be addressed, and the number in the white box should change. If not please let me know there might be some more trbleshooting that has to be done. Then put the smart card back in and your rcvr will reset and all is well.
If you arent getting a picture try ch 3 then ch 4. then cycle through your tvs inputs. Like video one video 2 and so on. These steps should get you a picutre back.
If not again please let me know there is more trblshooting for no video.
If your DISH remote is programmed to your Toshiba TV, you can press the TV button at the top left of the remote and then release. This will put the remote in TV mode. Press and release the TV/Video button just below the clear TV button. This will cycle through the inputs on your TV. Continue to press and release until you have Video-1 displayed on your TV screen. I hope this helps.
