Bluetooth problems are quite tricky. Most bluetooth problems are usually as a result of the bluetooth model/ versions. Bluetooth comes in 2 versions the 1.0 and the 2.0. Usually when your device cannot discover the bluetooth of another device you try the other way round if the other device can find your device. Also it i advicable to try multiple devices before determining that your bluetooth is faulty. Try other devices and let me know the outcome so i can give you trouble shooting tips from there.
Hope this solution has been helpful?

How to pair your Bluetooth headset with discovery mode and pin

Can't find your bluetooth headset listed on the device you want to pair it with? Don't know your pairing pin? Then this tips for you.

Before you can pair your bluetooth headset with your cellphone, computer, car or what have you, you must put the headset into "discovery" or "pairing" mode. This is done in a number of ways depending on what headset model you have. The most common method is to hold down the main button until the light stays solid blue. Another method is to hold the volume up and volume down buttons at the same time to that end. There are only so many buttons on a bluetooth headset, so you'll probably succeed with a little trial and error, but if not, check with your manufacturers support site.
Once your headset is in pairing mode, you'll only have 1 minute or so to pair it with your device, so have it ready. To do this on most phones, go to the bluetooth settings and select "search for new device" or "add bluetooth device" or something along those lines. Once you've found that screen, and once your headset is in discovery mode, the name of your bluetooth headset should appear. Select it.
The device you wish to pair to will now prompt you for a pass key, so here it is: for almost all bluetooth headsets, the key is "0000." I've also heard of a few that respond to "1234"

And that's it! Your all set. Alright, I hope this helps people.

Need to reset plantronics voyager pro heatset it pair with wrong phone and i cannot reset it or know how

to reset or pair your bluetooth device you need to put the device into discovery mode.To do this most manufactures use the power button,by holding the power button down for 8 to 10 seconds while turning the device on it should put it into discovery mode.Usually a light will remain on then you can find or search from your phone for new device.Once your phone has discovered the device it will ask for a pin\pairing code .Once again most manufactures use a 4 digit pin\pairing code they are as follows,0000,1234,9999, or 1111,try them in this order one will work. Connecting a Motorola H550 Headset and Envy 2

You will need to reset the bluetooth by... turn on bluetooth (switch towards mouthpiece), then hold both volume buttons along with the call button for 10 seconds. Turn it off (switch back), then switch on again, wait a couple seconds and it should have a full blue light. That means it is in pairing mode, then go to your cell phone in bluetooth settings and add a device, it should come up within no time. Add the device and the passcode is 0000. 4pr909 bluetooth headset passcode won't work with samsung juke

had same problem with this headset on two phones and finally solved it.

1. make sure bluetooth on phone is activated (know that sounds silly but some people forget)
2. with the headset turned off, press and hold the on/off button on the headset until the light on the headset FLASHES CONTINUOUS BLUE AND RED (about 8 seconds). This is most important, because if lights on headset are not continuously flashing blue and red, the headset is not in discovery mode.
3. once headset is in discovery mode, go into "my devices" on bluetooth menu on phone and click to search for new devices. make sure phone and headset are close together. phone will say searching- BE PATIENT, THIS STEP TAKES THE PHONE SOME TIME. eventually phone will show that it found your headset.
4. once the phone lists the headset, click on the headset and tell the phone to connect to the device. at this point the phone will bring up a passcode screen. enter 0000, and tell it to connect. when it connects, the lights on the headset will automatically go to an intermittent blue. you should be all set.

the biggest mistakes my kids made trying to pair these headsets were:
1. failing to turn bluetooth on for the phone
2. turning the headset on in something other than discovery mode (continuous blue/red flashing lights)
3. not being patient enough to wait for the phone to find the device.

hope this helps
