Blurry picture solution.

Please explain how changing the CRT cooling fluid will make the picture clearer. Is the light sent through the fluid or something such as that???

Thanks for your help.

Yes the coolant sits in a chamber which is attached to the face of the picture tube, and the image has to pass through that coolant. and eventually the coolant gets a algae type growth in it and gets congealed and brown and the resulting picture will get dim and wont focus and colors will be affected and you can even get glowing halos around objects. The green and blue colors are the first affected red takes longer.

Why is my tv blurry and distorted? We have reset all settings. Still blurry.

It looks like a light shining on the screen when you were recording the problem. Also, you are taking the picture from a bad angle for lcd types of tvs.Try a new recording, also get the tv on an HD channel for a better, clearer picture. Many hd tvs look bad on non HD channels.

When I take a picture with my Logitech Quick Cam, It shows fuz. How can I get the fuz out of my camera to where it takes pictures like it should?

There's a few things you can do to make it look clearer:
Make sure there is no dust or dirt on the lens, you can clean it with rubbing alcohol and a q-tip if needed.
Make sure the bundled software isn't sent to a filter that causes blurriness.
Try taking the pictures in situations with increased lighting. The sensors in webcams are generally cheaper ones and perform poorly in low light situations.
Please note that unless you have a HD model, the camera is probably taking a relatively low resolution photo that can cause it to look grainy or blurry when viewed.
Please leave feedback if this was helpful. Thanks.

If your unit is older it most likely needs the lenses, mirror and screen cleaned properly. As far as changing the water, the unit does have a special coolant between the lense and the CRT face to help cool them, but the system is sealed and should never need changed unless there is a serious problem.

I have a tip at http://www.fixya.com/support/r4690955-clean_lense_screen_in_projection_tv which explains the cleaning procedure and should be helpful to get through the cleaning process.

Thanks for using FixYa and for the great rating.

Blurry picture

The CRT fluid in the blue and green tube are most likely clouded. The set is still good. You just need to replace the fluid. Check with the site www.TvRepairkits.com - they are working on developing a fluid kit that includes a photo instuction quide.

SONY TV BLURRY

Good day.

I dont think it is your tube. Rather, the culprit is the one connected to your tube. Please check the crt socket. It is the connected to a circuit at the back of your tube. Have it replaced.
