Dont know why
But try resetting BIOS
1) remove M/board battery for 1 to 2 hours refit and see if bios is back in default mode
2) on M/board will be a 2 or 3 pin reset jumper switch with word on M/board reset bios or similar
On a 2 pin remove the jumper from 1 pin and fit it over both for 3 or 4 seconds then replace back to where it was and reboot
On a 3 pin remove jumper from the 2 pins it is on and fit over middle pin and the one it was not on same time then refit back to how it was and reboot
Your computer should now start and allow you into BIOS

Hello, i'am italian a don't speak english correctly i'have a problem my motherboard asus p5p800 vm have one error I gett Chassis inrusion error message - system halted THE SOLUTION? TANKS!

Go to the BIOS. Just restart your computer and while restarting, keep on pressing "f2" key or the "del" key, sometimes "f8" until you see the option that you can go to setup/bios. On the Bios menu, just find there the option to disable the Chassis Intrusion detection.

I want to know about my motherboard samsung model: Altair-30 R 1.40. i want read the manual book this motherboard...but i don't know where it is...

Motherboard information is normally available at the BIOS boot-up screen of your computer.

With very fast systems now, this will only be visible for a split second. You can force the system to halt (most default set-ups) by taking out the keyboard, and prompt a keyboard error.

This will show your mobo BIOS screen long enough for you to write down the information.

Hope this helps.

Chassis Intruded, Fatal Error...System Halted

you need to go into the bios of your pc.....usually pressing the delete key when you see the first logo screen after booting up....look for a section that relates to errors and what the bios is supposed to do when it encounters an error.
i.e if you see a line in the bios that says "halt on all errors" disable it and when you next boot up the bios will not stall.

Chassis Intruded, Fatal Error.....System Halted

I'm not familiar with that particulat model, but I'd guess the motherboard has a chassis switch connector, and senses the chassis be open. Could be because: - chassis open (close it), - switch defect (as a workaround, you could short-circuit it, or just unplug it - whichever solution works for you). As another workaround, you can probably disable this switch in BIOS.

BootBlock BIOS v1.0 BIOS ROM checksum error

Kevin, when you do get this going it is going to be a beast.Nice choices on the hardware. It appears that you are getting text in the bios menu and that is a real good sign. One bit of text you typed might be a clue." You typed Detecting floppy drive A media . . .
Drive A error. System halt" And you said that you had no Floppy. On the first screen were you see your time etc there will be something that says halt on all errors. Change that to halt on keyboard errors only. The wording may be different but you get the gist right? You don't want the bios seeing no floppy and halting on that.I hope this helps you and don't get discouraged. There is usually a simple answer.

Unplug mains from wall
remove lid
find CMOS reset jumper (usually 3 pins with a jumper/link on two of them near the button cell battery on the mainboard).
Move jumper to other position, then move jumper back again to original position.
fit lid and connect mains supply and switch on.

If you can go into the BIOS, set Defaults and set the date and time, Then try to boot.
If it has been of for a while and time is wrong when ou next boot it, replace the button cell battery on the mainboard.
