Question about Canon Office Equipment & Supplies

1 Answer

When I turn on my calculator it shows what looks like an "11" and it will not go away in any setting or when I turn it off and back on again. Also, I know it is not an 11 because the second 1 is turned backwards. How do I get rid of it?

Vibration goes away when steering wheel slightly turned

That turning of the steering wheel puts lateral pressure on CV joints. IT can also put a load on the axel bearing. If the vibration stops then you have an idea where to look. IF it does not stop then it is most likely tires.

Flashing asterick in lower left of screen; ever since will not correctly calculate PV or PMT

I believe there are two separate issues here.
The asterisk in the lower left corner of the screen is the low-battery indicator. Put in a fresh set of batteries and that will go away.
As for not getting the correct results, are you sure you have all the modes set correctly? Could you post a sample problem, with the results you get and the results you expect to get?

Hi, I need to graph with my TI 83 but I've run into a problem when trying to enter the (x,y) points that need to be plotted. From the beginning, I push "STAT" and highlight where it says...

Turn calculator on. Press the STAT button. In the new screen that displays, press 5:SetUpEditor, then ENTER. The deleted lists will be restored. Any data that was in them will not be recovered.

Hoe to I get my hp 12c calculator to show the begin/end format? It did, now when o hit "g" "7" beg or "g" "*' end, can not get to display? Thank you !

Begin mode is obtained by pressing [g][7] and it should then show BEGIN in the bottom line of the display. End mode is obtained by pressing [g][8]. End mode does not not show an indicator in the display because it is the default mode, so if BEGIN isn't showing, then the calulator is in End mode.

I have Casio fx-350 MS. On the screen in the top right, it say "fix." And whenever the answer comes out to be a decimal, the calculator automatically rounds it up to 10th place. I need it to...

Cheer up, the calculator can display UP to 10 digits, no more. Internal memory keeps 12 digits. So clearly, this calculator is not fit to handle the precision you apparently are seeking. It may be time to look for a more capable calculator.

When you are in "comp"

The "Deg" indicates degrees are the unit used for trigonometric calculations. You can use [MODE] [5] to switch to radians or [MODE] [6] for grade. [MODE] [4] switches back to degrees. This is independent of "Comp" mode.
