Not sure why you would want to do this unless traveling abroad, if so there are kits you can purchase to utilize your stuff over there. If speaking about using 220 in the states you just need to use one leg of the power and a nuetral, let me know if this was helpful

Hi yeah most of the time you can't play foreign games. so sorry mate. on a homeland original console you can't play specific games from other areas. like America and Canada are same but America and england are not.
Most (I say about 90%) of Bluray games are region free. Which means they will play on any PS3. However, sometimes updates or extra content, can cause problems. Because you have to get the updates from the region in which the game is from.
As for Blurays, some are region free and some aren't Hollywood is a lot more picky about copyright. I have heard that most are region free, and have also heard that they are the same as DVD. So don't have a direct answer for you regards to Bluray.
Yes it will work just fine and be able to play any and all ps3 games and blu ray disks. However, you will not be able to play canadian (ntsc) coded dvds and ps2 and ps1 games because the region coding of the spanish pal ps3 is not compatible with north american dvds.
