Problem for Sharp AL-1340 Laser Printer

Random multifeeds and jams.

if at any point i run 10 copies, there will be at least 1 jam and 1 case of pulling two sheet at once from the tray. never in the same order. always random within ten copies. any help would be appreciated!

When it jams I take it that there is two sheets stuck together? If so then the paper tray separation pad will need replacing. To check if the machine it working ok try using the side feed.
