Question about Mitsubishi VS-45607 45" Rear Projection Television

1 Answer

RE: vs-45607 thank you very much for the information. Is there a manual or schematics that I can go by, it would be very helpful in assisting me in fixing the problem. It's been awhile since I have worked on a tv and I want to make sure I do it correctly. Thank You, chefkenny

Good Day, chefkenny;

I don't think you will need the manual to perform this task. Like I stated the concern is on the signal board. Looking at the TV from the back the signal board will be on your left, the parts of concern will be on right side of "signal" PCB, toward the center of said board. You can see part location numbers easier from the bottom.

Good Luck, big IRISH.

Picture is blurry like the tracking is off? what is the fix?

Your TV is out of focus. It is difficult to mention the whole procedure of fixing of blurred picture in VS-60707. It is a very long procedure & requires some instruments for adjustment. To make it easy for you please visit the following link & download 11 files. Although you see the download for VS-45607, the service manual is also for VS-60707. http://www.eserviceinfo.com/download.php?fileid=32177
First three files are archived in .rar format & rest are schematic diagrams in pdf formats. After extracting files from the first three files go to page no. 35 & adjust the focus accordingly

I am trying to remove the screen on my Mitsubishi VS-4561 rear projection tv to clean it, how do I remove it? I know it slides up, anyone have a manual???

For my VS-45607 I had to first take off the speaker grill. Then there is a panel just below the screen that can be removed with screws; I removed this just for wire clearance. Then there are a few screws that are along the bottom of the screen that you take off and you should be able to slide the screen up and off. Good luck.

Does the buttons on the front panel work properly? I would suspect a bad button assembly.

Mitsubishi TV VS-45607

Good Day;

This model is known for the front control panel going bad. You could unplug it, control panel cable, from the front of TV, by removing the speaker grill, and just use the remote.

VS-45607

sounds like a defective cappacitor or leaky diode in the deflection circuits. Unless youre comfortable working around the high voltage circuits of a rear projection set, it may be best to call a reputable repair facility that is famillair with mitsubishi products.

Mitsubishi VS-45607 Picture flickers and dims

It could be a bad solder connection that opens up as the set warms up. It could also be caused by a couple of bad capacitors, C2p05 (100uf/16v) Located By Ic2p01 and check C2c52 (10uf/50v) Located near Q2c51. A technican will be able to fix it for about what you paid for it I suppose.
