Question about Audio Players & Recorders
Look for a small hole (hopefully not the microphone) and see if you can't strike a reset button of some sort.
Performing what's called a soft or hard reset on the devive will probably clear all the songs in memory.
Depending on the make/model, it may be as simple as an index file that was created making it think the songs are still on it, even though the files themselves have been removed.
