Model # DU1055XTPQ3 WHIRPOOL DISHWASHER RESET CODE

Posted by on

  • Anonymous Nov 04, 2008

I have a Sears dishwasher model 665106039403 made by Whirlpool and I have the same problem.

I was given the Heated dry - Normal - Heated dry - Normal code to start the machine again.

It did start but it never stops it just continuously runs until I cancel.

Any Ideas or codes to enter to assist in proper opperation?

Chris72 had the solution to my Whirlpool DU1055XTPQ3 not turning on. Per Chris's suggestion, I pressed back and forth between sani rinse and heated dry. All the lights came on as it reset and it was good to go. The dishwasher started up immediately. Saved me a service call, THANK YOU Chris!!

The matching Kitchenaid models have the same reset that can be done. I found that my dishwasher would not work and the clean light kept blinking. I replaced the heating element (which a blinking clean light indicate one is needed) but the machine would not reset. I read you answer for the Whirlpool and gave it a try and it works great now. Tip

How to reset a Whirpool dishwasher.

You have to press a series of button in sequence, the sequence is completed pressing the Hi-Temp wash, air dry, Hi-temp wash and air dry again in succession.

On some model it can be Sani Rinse wash, air dry, Sani Rinse and air dry again in succession.

If that does not work, then try tripping the circuit breaker for two minutes, emptying water that can be eventually inside the tub, connecting back, and doing the reset sequence again.

See also the diagram here.

I have a Model #DU960 Pwkq1 Whirpool dishwasher leaking

It is probally leaking from the vent assembly, rinse aid or soap dispenser. You will need to remove the door panel. Do this when the dishwasher is dry. Look closely for staining where the water is running down the inside of the door. Replace the gasket. Here is a couple links that should help with this.

Whirlpool dishwasher top spinner and top rack spinner is not putting out water or very little and not spinning. I have taken apart and cleaned everything including the sump / chopper, can't find any...

First, confirm that the holes are not blocked on these arms. (I did not want to assume you have done this.)

Then check the impeller on top of the motor stem for being loose or worn/damaged - to rule the impeller out. If it is fine, then the motor is failing and too weak to drive the spray arms.
To answer your question, I think the answer is "They don't make them like they used too!"
