Hi, i think you have a software problem.

Try to download and renew software from here:

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?pnameOID=29790&locale=en_US&taskId=135&prodSeriesId=29789&prodTypeId=18972

Remember to select your operating system.

The x86 is 32 bit, and the x64, is 64 bit system.

Uninstall the old driver before installing the new one.

Try also to erase old print jobs.

Hope this will help you.

Our HP Color LaserJet 2600n refuses to delete a file and therefore is blocking other print jobs. The Control Panel window says it's deleting....but it's been trying to do that for two weeks. We have turned...

I'm going to assume you're using XP. I've not seen this problem yet with Vista or Windows 7, which handle the print queue differently. Sometimes the print queue gets corrupted, and a job gets "stuck" and you can't delete it. You can get rid of it this way:

  1. Click "Start" on the task bar, then "Run...".
  2. In the "Run" dialog box, type "cmd" (without the quotes) and enter.
  3. Enter the following commands as shown in the cmd.exe window that opens:
  • net stop spooler
  • del %systemroot%\system32\spool\printers\*.shd
  • del %systemroot%\system32\spool\printers\*.spl
  • net start spooler
  • exit
These steps delete the corrupted print queue, so the ghost print job will be gone. (In the commands above, "%systemroot%" is an environment variable that is filled in for you by Windows. Type it as shown.)

Microsoft has a knowledge base article which suggests using notepad to put these steps into a command file, a text file with a ".cmd" extension. Then you can just type the filename in the Run... dialog box and do less typing. This is handy if you find you need to clear the queue this way more than once in a while.

HP LASER JET 2605, INSTEAD OF PRINTING PDF, IT IS PRINTING RED TEXT.. AND THE GRAY SCALES ARE RED...

Apparently there is a bug that HP is not fixing. Following is not a solution, only HP can solve this problem but a "workaround" for the time being, allowing you to print the file as image. Keep in mind that the printing will take longer time, because the file is output as bitmap, and that this way of printing it's not good enough for color proofing of any sort.

Check in the specific software Print dialog window, if you can print the file as image. Sometimes the controls are in the advanced options. In Acrobat, check the box for Discolored Background Correction in the PostScript tab of the Print dialog window, and if that doesn't help, check Print as Image check box.

HP Color laser jet 4700n 49.3048 service error

The problem is usually caused by printing a PDF file with fonts/page size/ page formating errors which will cause the printer to display the 49.3048 error. The only way to use the printer is to POR or recycle the power and delete the print job from the server or spooling device and cancel it on the printer before the offending command is issued to the printer again. You can try updating the firmware to the latest version 46.140.5 from the HP website. MIke L.

Hp officejet j4580 all-in-one printer will not print documents on screen it prints old documents and takes along time to print after the print command has been given

If you are using one printer in the same office, i mean if all the other employers also using it than this problem arises. Because if many employers using it than printer will always print in order of the print commands given. It works as prints given in order by time. If this is not the case than you can try to delete old print commands by switching the printer off and than deleting. I think this must help you.

If my advice helps you please feel free to rate me thanks.
