Must install motherboard drivers right after you install XP ( chipset is always needed first ) If you use Nvidia drivers or a 4 in 1 make sure you do those first before anything else .

Sata drivers pt80c-alx boot

SATA HARD DRIVE - XP INSTALLATION
The problem is that XP installation CD does not have a SATA driver, unless you have a SATA drive on a disk etc. and can install the driver when XP asks for a hard drive driver then, XP cannot detect the hard disk and therefore won't install XP. The FIX. Go into the BIOS and disable the SATA drive (enable IDE emulation), this will make XP think it is a IDE/PATA hard disk. Then you can install XP normally. When Windows has been installed then install all the device drivers (including the SATA driver), then shut down and boot up and got into the BIOS and enable the SATA drive.

Show blue screen and show error 0x0000007b during installation windows xp

I assume your trying to install windows xp on a somewhat newer computer. This will not work without some tweaking. The reason you are getting this error is due to the fact your computer most likely has a SATA drive as opposed to an IDE. Windows XP does not natively support SATA drives.
First thing you can try is go into your BIOS and change your hard drive to emulate IDE support (To get to BIOS, while the computer is booting you will need to press the key is asks for to enter setup/BIOS usually F1 F2 F10 or del)
Here's a video I found on youtube that explains it, you want yours set to IDE. After this is set, XP should install just fine.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PVXXopxa7hg
The other option is to build a slipstream XP disc and integrate sata drivers into it so that you can install XP on a computer with sata. This is much more advanced and I would try to emulate IDE mode first.
Leave comments if you need additional assistance.

You cannot just switch from RAID to IDE!!!
This has nothing to do with the operating system!
It is a hard disk control and arrangement protocol for transmitting and storing data.
RAID: Redundant Array of Independent Disks
IDE: Integrated Drive Electronics
It is a hard disk drive interface and RAID is commonly used in servers for data redundancy and faster access. There are several versions of RAID. RAID Wikipedia

if you want to install Windows XP first of all set in the BIOS back to IDE (or simply choose default settings)

Start up your computer save any data you might want to save.
Reformat your hard disk (you will lose anything you had not backed up) and install XP presumably from a CD you have.
ultimately you can install XP and just tell her during install to reformat the hard disk.
