Question about Polaroid FLM-3734B 37 in. LCD HDTV

FLM 323B power problem

I have the blue light nothing else happening dilema too. I read stiv0's tutorial but my boards don't look the same. I also can't find a cap that is bulged at all. Went to Radio Shack got the stuff and am now stumped. I took pictures. All the caps that are seen on the top board already are 35v. The ones I picked up at radio shack are also 35s but in between the 2 sizes shown. Any help would be great. I loved this TV now I hate it.

The power board might have input power, but there might be no output power. Check and replace the main power regulator board.

Blue LED light comes on but nothing else happens when turned on

It can be the main board or the power supply, look at the power supply first since it is easier to get to, look for burnt parts, bad capacitors, etc.

Polaroid FLM-323B nothing at all

Check and replace ALL high value electrolytic capacitors on the power supply board. The Polaroids have known issues with leaky caps in the power supply. It's best to just change them all to prevent future failures.

Blue light special Polaroid flm323b

Yep. Symptoms could be anything from high-pitched hum to no picture at all. On these defective models, I would start at the caps and work back. It won't hurt to replace them anyway.
