Perhaps if you got a paper when you try to remove jammed paper to a piece of paper rupr remained on paper route, and have seen where, if paper was not broken when it is possible that when you pulled a paper to be skipped sensor that never returns to the starting position

How do you return a skipped sensor to the starting position?

If you discover that it is a defective sensor, jumped to first place check is not anything broken, damaged. Toul If it's ok, you should be a spring that makes the return sensor spring position is initiala.Acel fixed, the ends of the arc is put on a special place to sit as a bolt fixed. moving carefully back into position to rest initiala. In it's skill, good luck! (sorry for my english)

When I hit print when the paper starts to feed the pushbar paper feed does so fast causing the paper to start slightly off caqusing a paper jam.. Is there anyway to adjust the feed

When the paper does not feed straight, dirty or stickyrollers can cause it to jamb or crinkle, also failure to remove all traces ofpaper from a previous paper jamb will cause further paper jambs.
Check for tiny pieces of at the edges of the rollers, and remove these piecesof paper. The rollers may be dirty or sticky and causes the paper tonot feed straight.
Try cleaning the rollers with methylated spirits.

Canon ip2600 won't feed paper

I fixed mine!! I cut a letter size paper in half lengthwise (so it was skinny and long). Held the printer on my lap with both top and bottom trays open. I noticed the white pegs and skinny black roller inside were turning when I turned it on, so I waited til they were spinning and slid the paper between them along the right side. (Kind of a reverse feed). Had to do it between the crazy ink returns. Yes, the paper crumpled a little, and I did it a couple of times with a couple of papers. Something gave, because after that it started feeding properly again!

I have a Canon iP2600. For no apparent reason, it stopped feeding paper on the left side only. On the right side, the paper catches, and tries to feed, resulting in a paper jam.

Sounds like an obstruction of some sort. Have a look on the left side with a flashlight as best you can, and see if maybe a staple or paperclip got lodged in there.

Printer keeps on jamming paper

Dear all,
I will try to help you. Paper jam error may be caused by some possibilities. So, please notice this indication:
  • If the printer status is READY immediately after Power ON then Paper Jam Error message appears while feeding the paper: Sheet Feeder Unit is faulty or any other material (such as broken paper) present inside paper path blocking paper end to reach paper feed sensor.
  • If Paper Jam Error messages appears immediately after Power ON: Paper feed sensor or logic board is faulty
Corrective action:
  • Remove the material from paper path
  • Replace Sheet Feeder Unit
  • Replace Paper Feed Sensor / Logic Board
Please rate me as Fixya if you find this useful for you. Thanks.
