Why wont my logitech boombox go into bluetooth search mode

I had the exact same problem. Boombox flashing blue, but not rapidly flashing blue. I did two things that seemed to fix it:

1: Reset the device by switching it on, then holding both volume up and volume down buttons at the same time for 10 seconds. The blue flashing light will briefly flash quicker to confirm.

2: Switch off the boom box

3: Switch on using the power button and (very important) immediately press and hold the Bluetooth button. The Bluetooth button needed pressing and holding almost instantaniously after the power button for it to work for me. I had to try several times to get it to work.

When you do this successfully, the Bluetooth light starts flashing rapidly and it enters search mode.

I nearly threw my speakers away, now it works and connects fine :)

My pioneer vsx 815 amplifier has a flashing blue standby light. Have tried resetting by pressing enter and advanced surround keys. All it does is flash a few other LEDs and then goes back to the flashing...

"enter and advanced surround keys"? I don't see that documented as a special function in the manual.

BTW: other than the Flashing light, is there a malfunction?

Page 72 describes how it REALLY resets...

Resetting the main unit

Use this procedure to reset all the receiver's settings to the factory default. Use the front

panel controls to do this.

1 Switch the receiver into standby.

2 While holding down the TONE button, press and hold the STANDBY/ON button for about three seconds.

3 When you see RESET? appear in the display, press ENTER .

OK? shows in the display.

4 Press SYSTEM SETUP to confirm.

OK appears in the display to indicate that the receiver has been reset to the factory default
settings.

It turns on but when you push the recorder button it shuts off

Bad power switch... very, very common with the DVC7 and DVC15. Get the power switch/recorder button assembly replaced and hopefully you won't have the problem again until the new one decides to act up.

Red light on ps3, 60g, cannot get to the restore menu

need more information. is the unit powering on? do the light ever turn blue?
if the light turns blue and you have no video , hold the power on button until you hear a beep. then it should ask you if you want to change the video setting or not.
but if the light is not turning blue then your power on button is not working and this is how you check that!
on the bottom of your ps3 is a rubber tab that holds your faceplate on unscrew that and slide plate down ward then remove 9 screws and the you can test the power on switch by using your finger.

Orange record light is on, unit will not display blue power light. Unpluging unit and reset does not work. TV shows white noise.

You could try holding the power button for 5 seconds and see if this resets the unit. It sounds like it may have a internal hard drive issue. if it is under warranty they may fix it for you.

All LEDs are in constant switched on state(BLUE)

When you plug in the source device and the output device, all of the LEDs light blue, letting you know that the device is ready to capture. When you are ready to capture, simply press the play button on your source device, the Rec button on the Video Transfer, and the LEDs light red, both on the source side and the output side, letting you know that a recording is in process. To stop recording, press and hold the record button and when the lights turn blue, recording has stopped.

Plantronics voyager 510 headset

Make sure the headpiece is charged. Turn the headpiece off by pressing the little black button on top of the earpiece and holding for about 5 seconds. Turn the earpiece back on again the same way. You should have a slow flashing blue light on the mic boom. The base station will now try to find the earpiece and within about 20 seconds the red light on the base should be steady and blue light on top should be on.
If this doesn't work you may need to manually pair the earpiece to the base by pressing and holding the Listen Volume Adjust + Button and headset Call Control Button on the earpiece until the light on the mic boom flashes red and blue repeatedly. As above, the base station will now try to find the earpiece and within about 20 seconds the red light on the base should be steady and blue light on top should be on.

My sansa e260 will not turn on

I had the same issue as everyone else. Here is how I fixed it:
1: unplugged it from my computer
2: Made sure hold is OFF (toggled back and forth to be sure)
3: Held the record button and then hit power.

It booted right up!
