Hi there

Your best bet would be a professional data recovery firm - it'll be expensive though,
the memory chip need to be take out from it and soldered in a new identical data stick, and hope it works long enough to get your data off.

dont try to do it yourself you will need professional help that too depends if the memory chip itself is not damaged
hope this helps
Good luck

If it is only the connector it is not impossible to fix. Usb has 4 connectors, here is
USB pinout All you need to find is a local electronic repairer good at soldering, and ask him to solder the 4 usb connectors on the small board inside your data stick to an usb cable, following the pinout above. Eventually give the repairman a printout of the
USB pinout page.

A: if you want to take a risk, try bending the top of it back to it's normal position.
B: You might want to open it up and check for internal damage. Most flash drives are held together by a screw or can be **** open with a penknife. Bend the plug back to it's normal position, and try putting it back in your computer. If your computer picks it up, copy off all the data, and buy a new flash drive!
If that doesn't work, contact a data recovery specialist in your area, and they will be able to help you! Good Luck!

Data Recovery (possible) from faulty hard drives

DAMAGED HARD DRIVE - DATA RECOVERY

Data recovery from faulty hard drives is difficult and can be costly. There is no guarentee that you can recover data from a faulty hard drive.
If the hard drive makes a clicking noise the the hard drive is dead.

First thing to try, is to remove the damaged hard drive and connect it to an USB hard drive adapter and then plug this adapter into a working computer's USB port. If this computer sees this hard drive as an USB mass storage device (external hard drive) and you can open the various folders and files, then I would backup your data.
If the hard drive is not detected then the hard drive is dead and data cannot be retrieved with this method.

Retrieving data from damaged hard disk is possible. There are companies that can remove the disk platters from the damaged hard drive and with special equipment may be able to recover your data, but it will cost you an arm and a leg for their services. The reason for this high cost, they dismantle and remove the platters in the hard drive in a clean room environment and set up the platters up in jig/drive to retrieve/copy the data.

How to recover data from my damage hard desk

Recovering data from a faulty or damaged hard disk is impossible for users, it requires specialized tools and knowledge.
There are companies that specialized in recovering data from faulty and damaged hard drives BUT it will cost you an arm and a leg for their services.
If you still wish to retrieve your data then Google search for data retrieval companies.

How can i retrieve my files from a broken memory stick pro duo

It depends how it is broken, if there is a physical reason, broken connection inside, then it will be possible but if the ram chip inside has died then sorry you've lost it all.
If the chip itself is not damaged, then the data can be recovered.

It will probably cost you money, so it all depends on how important the data is.

It is unlikely that you will be able to do this yourself, but there are companies out there that specialize in recovering data from damaged drives.

Laptop is dead; can I still retrieve data from hard drive?

You can remove the hard drive and connect it to an USB hard drive adapter or an USB hard drive adapter case and connect it to a working computer's USB port. If this computer sees it as an external hard drive then you can copy your data off this hard drive. If it doesn't see the hard drive, then it is faulty. There are companies that can recover data from faulty hard drives BUT it will cost you an arm and a leg for their services.
If the hard drive is OK you can put the hard drive into an USB hard drive adapter case and use it as an USB hard drive.
