My main spark ignitor has stopped working. The rotissary ignitor still works. Could be out of adjustment. How to fix?

Might be the PC board, or it might just be the switch behind the oven knob - try disconnecting the wire leading to that switch and see if the clicking stops. If it does, the switch is bad. If not, suspect the electronics.

there is a spark ignition in the middle between the front and back burners....one for the left side and one on the right side. When it was cleaned i bet that the spark ignitor was slightly bent towards the front burner...now the gap is too big to fire the rear burner...the ignitor is very similar as the spark made in those push down lighters. so its safe to play around and adjust them as needed to make them work...Go ahead and take it apart and tinker with adjusting it...until you get both front and rear burners running again the way it was before.( peek at the otherside as a reference and try to make it match)

Make sure yo haven't spilled liquid on the ignitor becuase this will cuase all ignitors to spark constantly. If all is dry, the spark module must be replaced.

it is strange that you have no gas and no spark! if you held a match to the burner and turned the burner valve on it would lite di spite a failed ignitor,but for it not to lite, the burner valve[its what the knob attaches too] would have to be blocked[thats rare]or ........i got it .....the knob is broken.thats the only thing the burner valve and the spark ignitor have in common.try a knob from another burner................again.you have spark,because others are working.spark on troubled burner would work if valve blocked at orifice outlet,and if spark failed you would still get gas they work independent of each other,[but in unison].thats why im thinking knob.its the item that works both .when you turn the knob it opens the gas valve and as the gas valve rotates by turning the knob it activates or turns the spark switch so it closes the curcit allowing the electricty to the spark moduel.hey i hope that helps a little. It is likely that the ignitor needs to be replaced. If the range does not sense the correct amount of resitance in the ignitor it turns the gas valve off. When the ignitor is starting to fail the problem is intermittent, so the range turns on and off as you have described.

replace the electrode that's the wire or pilot tip, it has a sensor built in, when it gets hot it stops automatically. if the electrode is between the front and rear burners, there are small holes on the burners going down on the side of the burner facing the ignition. they need to be clean. try a paper clip and insert the clip in side the holes.

Check both gas valve solonoids for 216 ohms [blue broiler wire to the orange common and red oven wire to orange common] both must be ok.

Check oven temp sensor for 1080 ohms.

If above are ok then the problem is either the spark module or the control board.

Since the gas valve was not opening and there was not ignitor sound I replaced the spark module for about $90. You have a 50-50 chance of being right.

My range is relitively new and I'm haveing an oven light problem which I traced to the control board so I may replaced this board to for about $200.

Dry the ignitors and see if that works. If not, then get new ignitors.

1 Check to be sure unit is properly connected to power supply. 
2 Check for a blown circuit fuse or a tripped main circuit breaker. 
3 Check to be sure ignitor is dry and clicking. Burner will not light if ignitor is damaged, soiled or wet. If ignitor doesn’t click, turn control knob OFF. 
4 Burner ports may be clogged. 

two options.first does the pilot flame look good (a nice blue flame)?if so you will see a metal probe next to the pilot,use some sandpaper and clean that probe up.if that solves your problem so be it.second if the first thing doesnt work its probably the ignitor board not sensing the flame.the way to definitly tell the one or the other use a small torch and heat up the probe like i said and turn the oven on.if the main burner comes on then you know its the probe which is called a thermocouple and is cheap.hope this helps.
