No maxboxman they are not referring to the jumper pins on the harddrive.

The reference is to jumper pins on the motherboard. There generally would be a jumper sitting on Pins 2 and 3 probably, and needs to be set to Pins 1 and 2.
(Pins 1 and 2 are the Run mode, Pins 2 and 3 are for BIOS reset. Just a General example, and does not apply towards your motherboard

However I'm looking at a PDF motherboard manual for the AOpen AX34-U motherboard, and no jumper pins are shown on the 'motherboard map', nor are any listed. (Anywhere in the manual, to include the BIOS section)
Just details how to enter BIOS Setup, and possible BIOS updates.

You have to wait for the page to load, watch the green progress bar.
After the page loads click on the blue down arrow to the left of Select a model.
Scroll down to AX34-U, and click on it.
Same thing, waiting game.
When this page loads scroll down to the heading BIOS.

Click on 2 at the bottom, (Page 2), and the English version of the motherboard manual is listed in PDF form on Page 2.
