You need to open your stereo for manually clean the laser lens. With cotton Qtip wet in isoprophilic alcohol clean the laser lens then with the dry part of the qtip clean the residues of the alcohol. The lens look like an fish eye.
Is this problem new or was it always like that? If it is an mp3 cd you are having problems with, It is normal for mp3's to take some time to load. If it wasn't like that before, I would suggest cleaning the Lens/ eye of cd player. If you don't want to take it apart, you can use a cd cleaner. It is just a disk with soft brushes that can clean inside the cd player. Have a good day!
