I'm sorry but if your shuttle on this machine is only turning half way around you probably have a broken gear. It needs to be seen by a technician. Some of these machines need a complete lower assembly because you can't get "just" a gear.

Why does'n the needle catch the bobbin thread on Necchi BU Nova

Your hook is moving correctly. Not all machines do a continuous circle. If it's not catching the thread, the timing is off. It's a great machine, and worth every penny to have it serviced.

Piece where the bobbin goes came out, how do I put it back in. I can't find my manuel to see a picture.

General guidelines as you did not specify the make or model:If a front loading bobbin, tilt machine slightly on its back....insert the hook neatly in the shuttle opposite the half moon shaped shuttle..... the ring holding the hook has a small pin that locates it in the main surrounding housing like a keystone. There are two lugs to hold everything in place
If top loading bobbin, the "cow horns" go to the rear to allow the needle to operate and a small lug (front) acts with a stopper atop the hookrace.

How to install bobbin

In the shuttle area there is a silver round piece- called the shuttle race cover. It has a black ear on the right and a black ear on the left. Push the right ear to the right, and the left ear to the left and the silver ring should come out. Behind the silver ring is the bobbin case stuck in the hook. Remove that, jiggle it, move it, just work the bobbin case out of the hook. Now put the hook back in the machine. In the machine there is a driver that looks like a half moon. Your hook looks like a half moon- make a full circle out of both of them. Re-install the race cover, pushing the left ear to the right and the right ear to the left to secure the race cover, and your problem should be solved.

Machine is very loud and jumpy

Hi,
Usually this problem occurs on machines with a front load bobbin case. If so, remove the bobbin case, the shuttle hook cover (two levers to the sides of the bobbin case area cover and shuttle hook (part the bobbin case goes on and it is ½ mooned shaped). Then clean and oil (with Q-tips and sewing machine oil NOT 3 n1 oil) the round outer area where the hook rides. No lint at all and squeaky clean. Then 3 drops of sewing machine oil in rounded groove where the shuttle hook rides. Then replace the pieces:
Replace hook:
Identify the the hook driver (still in machine), it is 1/2 moon shape. The hook is also 1/2 moon shape. If you lay the machine on its back,( it's easier). Set the hook 1/2 into the other 1/2 of the hook driver to make a circle. Then put the hook cover on (machine still on its back) with the tabs for the twist locks pointed to you. Needle gaurd on hook cover to the top of the machine. Snap the twist locks in place, replace the bobbin case and viola!

I have a siplicity sewing machine and after taking the bobbin out to clean it I cannot get the bobbin holder to go back intot the machine

I had a similar problem and Rick on this site was kind enough to give me some advice. Lay the machine on its side so you can just place the bobbin mechanism pieces into the bobbin shuttle area. Put the small half moon shaped piece in first, then lay the round piece in with the little notch at the bottom. Loosen the screws that hold the arms that hold the bobbin shuttle in and position them over the small 'bumps' on the bobbin housing. Once you have the arms in position, tighten till firm (not enough to strip the screws) and then set the machine upright and insert the bobbin case with thread.

I really hope I've helped you like Rick did for me.
