How do i set up my LG43uh620v smart 4ktv for sattelite reception.i have a sattelite dish ariel plugged in?

Easiest way would be use the HDMI output from your Satellite Receiver box to your new TV. If you don't have a Satellite Receiver box at that location, you'll need to get one from your service provider.

Your TV will not interface directly with the dish - you need the equivalent of a cable box to decode the signals from the dish, select channels, etc.

Denon AVR-786S 7.1 Channels Receiver

Hi,

First set the DVD player To mono and then see.
Check if the DVD assigned to coaxial input in receiver menu?
Check if the Digital out activated in player menu?

There are quite a few ways to connect cable box, DVD, receiver and TV together. At a minimum---Connections between DVD and a/v receiver: For Audio, either digital coaxial, digital optical or simple RCA (CABLE ONE); If you did not use RCA you need to connect Video with either component or s-video (CABLE TWO). For connection between a/v receiver and TV: either component, s-video or RCA (CABLE THREE) You did not mention how your cable (or sattelite) box is connected. You could use same set-up as between DVD and a/v receiver for another one or two cables depending on set-up used.

Goodluck..

Everything works fine. Just want to know what this abbreviation is: STB Refw Design. STB is Set Top Box..what is the rest? Thanks

The rest is "Reference Design". Only a few companies created the set top box chips/electronics plans. These companies license their designs to the various vendors/builders of STB boxes.

I hope this helps.

(Sometimes you'll see a reference to the STB RDK. This is a set-top box reference design kit. It's pre-packaged set up for the manufacturers.)

Watched DVD cannot return to regular TV just snow what channel should it be on

if you have an external box for the signal (like a sattelite receiver or cable box) then you need to see what input it's plugged into.
If it's plugged into something marked AV1 or something like that, that's the input you need to select to get the TV back. The TV input selection is only for when you have analogue cable or antenna plugged directly into the TV itself.

I have a MD8830 and want to use the freesat receiver system for T.V. viewing, the set up guide has an option for a set top box or one for no set top box, can this be used for satellite viewing without a...

If your satellite receiver has an NTSC RF modulated output (RG 59 F connector), you'll need a TV tuner card in your PC to watch it.

If your satellite receiver outputs NTSC composite (unmodulated, RCA cables: yellow, red, white), you can use something like ADSTech DVD Express to connect to your PC using a USB port.

Once you've got your receiver interfaced to your PC or other display, you'll probably need to download the latest programming guides / channel assignments into the reciever using USB or serial cable.

Due to various countries legal restrictions, finding such bin or autoroll files, even for Free to Air satellite programming, is most easily done by word of mouth.

I have two optical inputs the one one the left works wellwith my dvd player. I tried plugging my satalite into the other optical input but it won't let me change the tv button to digital

Discovered, with help, that the manual actually did cover this. Around pages 20-21 described the way that you can set which inputs each of the OPT1/OPT2/COAX inputs get assigned to. Basically scroll through the different setup options on the remote till you find the settings for the OPT2 - in my case it was set to "Off" - which explains things. Just switched to TV and voila, worked great.
