The only way to get this process reversed and have the points refunded is to directly contact microsoft costumer services.
Unfortunately, it is very unlikely they will refund the points since all terms and conditions have to be agreed to when bank details are first put in.

Mother co-signed loan for her son's mortgage. Bank for closed property. This is the son's personal residence

Mother made a terrible mistake. Never cosign for anything. If you're reading this, don't make this mistake yourself

How do I get my money refunded? e mobile code returns money after 60 for during 60 day trial

  1. Log in to your PayPal account.
  2. Click Activity at the top of the page.
  3. From the dropdown menu, select Refunds.
  4. Select the desired dates.
  5. Click View.
  6. Click Details next to the refund.

If you paid with your credit card, the money will go back to your card. (It can take up to 30 days for the refund to appear on your card statement.) If you paid with your PayPal balance or bank account, the money will be returned to your PayPal balance.

Pending: If your refund status is Pending, it means that the seller issued your refund but the money hasn't arrived from the bank yet. It usually takes 3-5 days for the money to arrive.

Refunded or Partially Refunded: If your refund status is Refunded or Partially Refunded, it means that the refund is complete. The money should be back in your PayPal balance or on your credit card.
Temporary hold: If your refund status is 'held', it means the transaction was refunded before it has cleared your bank. This process takes 3-5 business days to complete, and the refund will be credited to your balance once the process is completed.

How to get paid

Hi ozbugrace880

REALIZING CASH FROM A PAYPAL ACCOUNT

You can register your bank account (this must be an account that can send out and receive electronic payments) with PayPal and then transfer funds in between your bank and your PayPal account. For information about managing and accessing money received through a PayPal account (go to your country specific PayPal site for local financial regulations guidelines), see here:

https://www.paypal.com/helpcenter/main.jsp;jsessionid=pxjVT1cZcFhmgqTDKKrQ1LV2q5bQ7gv9XndSJFCrG1hpM1pmgrGZ!1869012266?locale=en_GB&_dyncharset=UTF-8&countrycode=GB&cmd=_help&serverInstance=9002&t=solutionTab&ft=browseTab&ps=solutionPanels&solutionId=163301&isSrch=Yes

The PayPal System is a commercial, revenue generating business model. It is designed to earn revenue for PayPal as well as to provide its global users with a secure, safe way to complete transactions over the internet. So, PayPal is set up to keep any money in users' PayPal accounts for as long as possible, so that as many transactions as possible are conducted via PayPal, each transaction earning a fee for PayPal.

However, the Law requires bank (or similar financial organisations) account holders to be able to directly access any cash held in their accounts if they so wish. PayPal complies with the Law by allowing money from a PayPal account to be transferred to a bank account as long as that bank account is registered with and verified by PayPal. PayPal can justify this convoluted and indirect method of allowing account holder access to cash, on both the maintenance of PayPal account security grounds and compliance with Money Laundering Legislation grounds.

I believe that PayPal also have an Own Brand MasterCard, operated for PayPal by Santander Bank, to and from which PayPal account funds can also be transferred. Using this card normally incurs fees.

PayPal funds can also be loaded onto reloadable debit cards such as the Payoneer MasterCard. Using this card normally incurs fees.

The only other possible way of realising cash from PayPal Accounts, depending on where the user lives, is by purchasing something online with PayPal funds that can then be physically returned for a Cash Refund from a physical branch of the company that supplied the item in the town or city where the user lives.

As an example, in the UK (specifically London), discounted travel can be paid for using a Debit Card called Oyster which can be obtained, for a small, fully refundable deposit, from any underground and most overground train stations as well as from a network of authorised Oyster retailers in the city. It is possible to top up the Oyster card online, using PayPal funds. The Oyster Card can then be cashed in for its full cash balance plus card deposit at any London Underground and most overground Train Stations. The user can then later pay the small deposit for a new Oyster Card.

In this 'Refund' method it is, of course, essential to establish, beforehand, the exact refund policy of the supplier before going ahead with any purchase. Some suppliers may, on security grounds, exercise the right to refuse a cash refund and to, instead, re-credit the relevant PayPal account.

I hope this helps.

My son, who has been gold member on the Xbox for the past couple of years, got banned for "marketplace theft" and "illegal Microsoft point purchase"????? My son is 14 years old,...

You're barking up the wrong tree.

You need to contact Microsoft to find out what the problem is and if/how they will unban you. They are the only ones to have control over this and I highly doubt they read this website.

I was charged on credit card for something i didnt order its called idenity theft

1) Contact the seller of this service to find out whether this isn't a mistake. Ask the seller to cancel the order and refund the money. 2) If it isn't a mistake and the seller refuses to refund the money - ask the seller to tell you who ordered this product or service (shipping address, or IP address) and forward these data to the police. 3) If the seller doesn't provide you these details voluntarily - police will force the seller to share this information, so the police could find the thief. 4) Contact your bank and ask to cancel the transaction, if it is not possible - ask to block the credit/debit card for further thefts and issue a new one. 5) Request your bank to apply higher security measures for your bank account and credit card operations (for example 3D authorization when paying online, or disallow any online payments at all). --------------- P.S. If this helped you to solve the problem (or at least brought some clarification) - rate this solution with 4 thumbs up! Thank you!

Ipaid for an item, which the seller withdrew, my paypal account says refunded, yet it has not bee returned to my debit card?

Hi,

It takes 5-10 working days for them to process it. The amount shows refunded because Paypal refunded the amount to the bank but that doesn't mean that the amount is updated on your Debit Card.

The ball is in Bank's court. What i have seen it would be updated within 2-3 working days but some banks would take more time to update the amount.

Note - I am taking into consideration that you have entered all the correct details in the Paypal account.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!
