Inside your unit there are 2 power boards that convert a lot of current to and from the battery - complete failure on one of theses boards is a common problem and it's a terminal one.
if the mains power board has failed then yes, it has indeed overstressed the wall plug and you will have to completely replace it as soon as possible.

Plugged 120V appliance into 220V socket

Its dead, and whatever you do, DO NOT plug it into any power again, it could cause a fire so fast that you would be in mortal danger.
Most of the world uses 'real' levels of power, your american appliances cannot handle it.

Motherboard,It just went, burnt, for no reason,I sent it

Usually a "fried" motherboard will result from a faulty AC adapter / power supply. If the voltage it provides is too high, kiss the motherboard good bye! Most adapters output voltages around 18-19 volts at around 90 watts. If the adapter malfunctions, the voltages do not have to go much above the range to cause havoc.

If the repair shop did not FIRST check the voltage of the AC adapter before plugging it into a new motherboard, I would seriously consider a new repair shop!

Cyberpower 525L, power light blinking, beeping. will not run cpu, runs all other devices plugged to it.

525L series as very matter that cause to emliminte the problem try this matters lst.

step1 the power is 300watts -/+ any power supply that above the usage will be overload maybe thats the problem when your cpu & does't power. what are the devices that u plug it to the ups? it important what the devices u plug in maybe using high watts for eg printer, scanner and fax mechines. the solution unplug out those not important device and plug your cpu to test and see it work? and also the socket you plug it in from th cpu, try to plug one of the device to test and see if the power socket is working.

step2 or could be the battery problem juz change the battery and test it up. here are the below website what are the spec of the battery.
http://www.batteries.com/index.asp?N=4294960483+4294958897+4294957694&Ne=25&Nu=p%5Fprodcode

step3: if all this step 1 and 2 does't work it could be the socket from the ups is faulty, ask for the vedor to check your ups if it need?

Just stopped working

It's either a broken wire in the cable or if you smelled burning the motor has burnt out. Dyson can repair it for you either free under warranty or for £60 including a refurb and home visit by the engineer

I have to replace batteries for my cyberpower ups 900avr, the wiring to the batteries are:1 red that goes to red, 1 black that goes to where and 1 blue that goes from battery to battery. please help I...

Ok it looks as if your batteries are wired in series.

The red wire goes to the positive (+) on battery 1 and the black goes to the negative (-) on
battery 2 and the blue wire from the negative (-) on battery 1 to the positive (+) on battery 2

Here is a typical wiring chart for 2 batteries wired in series http://www.bigboytoysonline.com/RVMods&Articles/Batteries/images/2x6VoltinSeries.gif

I hope this info helps

DSL FILTER

I know that my DSL filter is plugged in to my telephone socket, it has about a 6 inch lead from the phone socket to the filter so it should be quite close to the socket.

Hope that helps.
