How can I use my webcam with these chat service? When i open the cam via opening the Philips program the cam works.. but I get a black screen with Yahoo and Skype says there is an error but doesn't tell me what the error is. I downloaded the newest version of both Skype and Yahoo... what gives?

- I have the same damn problem. I called Philips and they told me to go to their website support.philips.com, go to contact and support, go to driver windows, click save file, go and open file and download, reboot system later. Then I guess you need to unplug your camera and plug it back in and it should work. However, after being on hold for over 30 minutes customer service told me that their website is down right now. Guys I got one (SPC110NC ) today and it behaved as follows
1. Plug and play .. so windows XP (SP2) recognised it instantly.
2. Images were recorded from the general webcam application (defaalu XP one ).
3. Skype however gave the error that was somewhat like " Skype cannot access ur webcam etc ..."
Apparently for Skype 3 and higher u need a special driver .. which u can get at

Same exact thing trying it on aim..it connects but black screen and it says neither you or the other person has a camera when clearly we do and my computer says its installed...WHATS up? someone find a solution please

The camera works when i go into scanners and cameras, but it doesnt work when i try and use it on yahoo. all i get is a black screen.

Will not work in AOL or Yahoo. Unplugged it and replugged it back in. Went in to the programs and selected the proper video device with no luck
