The camera has a one-year warranty. Unless you damaged it, the repair shouldn't cost anything. Contact the support section of the Canon website...e-mail one of their techs for instructions.

Camera does not turn on

Rosa, I think the only thing you did was get out the batteries and tried to charge them and then jut put them back in the camera.
Only a few things could have gone wrong.
One or more cells could have died, during charging. It can happen, special with batteries that have a uneven use. Like once or twice a year the camera comes out the box and then the batteries are charged. Even when you don't use he camera, make it a habit to charge the batteries every few months.
Then it could be your batteries are still in good shape and fully charged, but you put in one or more calls the wrong way around.
Please check carefully if all the cells are inserted correct.
If nothing works, and you can't check the voltage of your batteries, try another set of batteries.

Wont charge or turn on

1) you must sure about if the charger is o.k , measure the output charge and compare witht the label attached, if the voltage label is NOT the same, the charger is faulty.
However clean with solvent spray for contacts, for dust, oxide, corrosion.

My fujifilm JX500 wont charge

Had the same problem, took the camera back to the shop. Was mortified when the assistant opened the battery slot, took the battery out, turned it round and put it back in again. And it worked. Make sure the battery isn't the wrong way round (only camera I've ever had where it was even POSSIBLE to put the battery in the wrong way round). Orange label on the battery needs to be next to the orange 'release lever' on the slot.

Nikon Coolpix L110 camera was bought for me for Christmas 2010. Worked fine at first, but now seems to be having problems. Batteries don't last. I just bought new batteries in Feb/March this year...

You have to charge the batteries for nearly 8-10 hours. Brand new batteries also require a full recharge of 8-10 hours. Not only making sure the batteries are charged, have you changed the battery in the menu under type of batteries.
Download this manual :

The battery wont charge and it is only the second

Try turning the battery over in the charger. It sounds like the wrong side is up.

CasioEX-S880 will not charge.

Hey ITDude,
You do need to charge the camera by putting it in the camera dock and the ac cord should be plugged into the camera dock. It is possible that the battery has gone bad so you could try getting a new battery. If neither of these options work I would have the camera looked at by an authorized service technician. I hope this helps!

Sincerely,
Allan

CAN ANYONE HELP SOLVE THIS PROBLEM URGENTLY?

Unless somebody comes up quickly with a better solution for you, it may be an internal battery problem, especially if you keep having to set the time.
