Question about Kenmore 55612 / 55614 / 5561 / 655619 Side by Side Refrigerator
Hi, Its me again. I had a tech to come out. When the tech got here everything was working fine. We explain to the tech that evey week the temp will go up and down and the ice trays will melt. He told me to call when the refrigerator was not cooling. He did tell me that it could be the relay or the thermostat. He said if it is running and not cooling its the relay and if its not running and not cooling it the thermostat. Charge me a service fee and told me to call when it is not cooling again. He never check anything. Now the temp. is up in the red and my food is warm. Any suggestions?? Thanks again for your help.
Call the man when it is acting up as he asked. If you turn on a light switch and the light comes on nothing can be found wrong. When you turn on a switch and the light does not come on someone can determine if it is the switch or the bulb that is the problem.
If the compressor is running while there is no cooling it could be such a thing as moisture in the system.
If the compressor is not running while there is no cooling it could be the thermostat control, or if the compressor is hot and not running it could be the relay as he stated but the condition must be evident for anyone to find it.

Tips for a great answer:
Mar 09, 2015 | Kenmore Dishwashers
May 01, 2017 | 2003 Oldsmobile Alero
F2-E0 Error indicates
a loose/broken wire on the oven temp sensor or the oven temp. sensor itself is
bad and should be replaced. To solve this issue test the oven temp. sensor, it
should read between 1080-1120 ohms, if the rating is more then that and the door
appears to be closing fine then it is the control board that is bad and should
be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.
