Check your fuel filter if you have one, normally they will be located in the fuel tank.
If the mower/weedeater is over a year old, then I recommend that you buy and install a new carburetor repair kit, because the diaphragm will get hard and that will cause it to be hard to crank.
Sounds like you will need to clean the carburetor or replace your carburetor internal rubber parts like the diaphgram and O rings.
Be sure to use compressed air to blow out all the fuel and air passages.
Be careful when blowing out the passages, because there are sometimes small rubber type seats in the bottom of some of the passages.
Sometimes you can get by with priming the carburetor or using starting fluid and letting it run a few times like that and it will flush the gunk out of the jets, but most of the time you will need to rebuild the carburetor.
Keep in mind that the float for the carburetor must be level when you go to reassemble the carburetor or follow the instrucitons you get with the carburetor kit.
When you clean your carburetor and remove the jet screws, you will first need to lightly seat the jet screws.
But before you lightly seat the jet screws count the number of turns it takes to seat the jet screws from their original position.
Be sure to mark the turns down on a piece of paper.
That way when you put the jets back in, you know to lightly seat them first and then turn them back out to their orginal position before you started.

How to prime the injectors and fuel rail after replacing the injectors?

Electromagnetic or electronic fuel injectors are self-priming and all that is needed is to crank the engine, though I believe on later systems the injectors are coded and will not work unless the ECU has been informed the codes have changed. I think this applies more to diesels than petrol engines but on such matters I am not expert...

Staying with diesels for a moment - new injectors on either engine would usually mean fitting a new fuel filter. Sometimes this would require the primary diesel circuit to be bled in order for the high pressure pump to work.
The amount of starter cranking required can be cut by leaving each injector pipe loose in turn until diesel is dribbling from it.

No power to fuel pump

power as in measured 12vdc power? or it dont buzz. power.
most all, cars, and trucks, no year stated.?
the pump can only run ,cranking or running engine.
some you get fuel prime for 3 seconds, only key on.
so if you check the pump it WILL Be dead. no 12vdc (by design)
so crank it.
rules if the road.
the PCM will cut fuel if it thinks spark is bad. (and others ,ask)
so fueling is last.
unless the pump is dead cranking, is it dead cranking?
dead means , either no 12vdc to pump cranking or pressure is too low cranking.

Why doesnt electricity to my fuel pump the fuel pump fuse doesnt have electricity

wont have constant power unless its running ,,,, when you first turn on ign it cuts in for a few seconds to prime the fuel system and then only runs constantly when engine starts,,, if its not doing this it could be a faulty relay or a crank sensor

Honda pilot out of gas put gas in and still won't start

false economy that.....
the pump is fuel cooled and Lubricated,
running it dry, wrecks the pump. (at the least lost the prime)

this car is no like an old carb car ,where this is ok.

if lucky key on and off 10 times, and hear the pump, it you hear it run.
it may prime. some cars 1/2 the pump is dead until cranked.
so easy to drain a battery priming the pump.

I turn ignition to ready position. The fuel pump engages and prime's the line. I then start the engine. Engine starts and runs for a max of 15 seconds. As soon as the engine cuts out the fuel pump...

The crank sensor is a good candidate. Pretty common failure on jeeps.
To clarify, the fuel pump is on all time during engine cranking, and during engine running. When the engine cuts off, the pump will also be stopped. But, you will not lose pressure in the fuel lines and fuel rail immediately. The check valve in the pump is supposed to hold fuel pressure in the system for a good time-about 20 minutes. The pressure should bleed off very slowly.

Your fuel pump and fuel system is probably good, but if you really lose prime (or pressure) that quickly, then there is a problem. Best way to check is with a fuel pressure gauge after the engine cuts out. Or, if you have the test port schraeder valve on the fuel rail (looks like a tire valve), you can use a screwdriver to press the center of the valve. If gas squirts out, you do have fuel pressure, prime is not lost, fuel system is good, and you can assume problem is in the ignition circuit, not a fuel problem. Probably the crank position sensor.
Good luck, Casey.

no start , crank perfectly
so , got spark?
the ECU has programming (ROM) and in fact kills all fueling with no spark , (even if it thinks there is no spark, even if spark is ok)
all ECU use a way to read back spark quality, (ALL){LAWS}
how honda does it in code, i don't know , see C R O M E forum)
turn the key over means nothing to me.?? sorry, it doent/
try saying what postion? cranking? or just keyon.
now some more EFI rules.
The EFI (some) do not activate the pump relay until cranking.
some do just key on for 3 seconds, read the FSM, its free.
need a link to the free manual? read the ECU logic on that.?
and prime has a special meaning, it means purge air,
its not for fuel. some system send a fast prime pulse. to clear air from the pressure lines, this plus does not inject.
that is how EFI works,

the flow
1: key on, ECU sends prime pulse, (air purge)
2: some ecu, run pump for 3 seconds, and pressure hits 35psi? RTM.
3: all ecu activate pump cranking and running.
4: now check pressure. !" 36 psi FSM stated spec"
5: now crank, if the ECU sees no spark errors, it injects
6: if the ECU sees WOT. it stops injection to clear a flood, cranking.
those rules cover most ECU made.

honda this year has a special feature called,
Fuel Cut-Off Control'
if this messes up, it i can cut fuel
does this help?
even better is this site, (has all the facts..)

It will start up and run about 10 sec. and shut off. you can crank it back op will shut back off

As per Dennis's request for more info however the fuel pump relay sounds promising.

Example, FPR is priming but not contacting for running, engine will use up all primed fuel then cut out.

there is a fuel pressure regulator on the back of your injectors, change it, its a 13 dollar part, after you do that, buy a fuel pressure guage, hook up the pressure guage, turn the key to on possition, prime the like a couple times like you would do with a new pump, check the pressure it should be any where from 58 LBS to 62 lbs of pressure in the like, if its any lower the 58, you need to change your pump, with out 58 lbs of pressure the injectors dont get the correct pressure in each purge, hence the crank with no start.. you seem to know enought about pressure n stuff like that so u should get it
