You need to clear browser cache and cookies. If you are using Intenret Explorer, click on Tools and click on Internet Options. Under browsing history, click on Delete. Check Temporary Internet files, Cookies and History. Click on OK and OK again. It should fix the problem.

How to reduce the number 0f stored emails and then set a limit time for emails?

Find the gear box (settings) and here you should find options as to how many emails will be displayed per page when you login in, (i.e. 10 per page, 20 per page etc). Each email provider is set up differently, however most put the email settings on the upper right hand corner. Look for a gear icon, or the word "settings", "email preferences" or words to that affect. You will also find, when viewing your list of emails, a check box at the top left (directly above the first displayed email). This allows you to select "all" emails currently listed within the page, and delete them all at once. Be sure you look through the list as to not delete any important emails or emails you'd like to keep. If you do accidentally delete one, fearnoy as you simply can go to your "deleted" folder l, select the email(s) you want to keep, and "move" them to your inbox. Please let me know if you need further assistance. Thank you.

Can't get most of my attachments to appear

With the Web-based Yahoo! Mail service, you can attach to your email message a saved Web page or another document in HyperText Markup Language format.
When you attach an HTML file in this way, Yahoo! Mail won't display the HTML content of the attached file in the email message body.
To view the attachment, you must click the attachment tab above the email message.Yahoo! Mail and HTML
Yahoo! Mail is a Web-based service and it's fully compatible with the coding languages used to design and display Web content, including HTML and XML, Extensible Markup Language.
This means emails sent or received in Rich text or HTML format include clickable hyperlinks, graphics and other Web design elements.
However, Yahoo! handles emails with HTML attachments in a different way to email messages formatted with HTML.

About Yahoo! Mail Attachments
Like most email programs and online services, Yahoo! Mail offers an attachment feature for adding images, video clips, audio files and HTML document to email messages.
Some email programs display the content of the attached file in the email message body, but Yahoo! Mail doesn't provide this feature for any file attachment, whether it's an image, video clip or HTML document.

Viewing Yahoo! Mail Attachments When you attach an HTML document or another file to your Yahoo! Mail message, an "Attachments" button labeled with a "Paperclip" icon appears below the email address fields and above the email message body.
Clicking the "Attachments" button opens a pane containing a list of all files attached to the email. The email sender or recipient can open each attachment to view the files by clicking the file name.

Considerations

When sending a Yahoo! Mail with an attachment, always explain the content of the attachment in the main body of the email message.
A brief explanation will encourage the recipient to click and open the attachment to view the HTML document.
Bear in mind that many email services automatically block HTML attachments because of the security risk of opening HTML files, which can contain viruses, phishing scams or open Web pages with inappropriate content.
If you want to share a favorite Web page with a friend or contact, include a hyperlink to the Web page rather than a saved copy as an HTML attachment.

Reset id and password

Which email account ??...

People sometimes forget their email username or password even both.
Fortunately, you can retrieve your username if you can supply some information that verifies your identity.
However, if you forget your password, you must select a new one.
You will need access to the alternate email address you supplied when you created your current email account.

Go to your email program and click the link under the sign-in fields to recover a lost email ID or password.
The title of this link may vary, depending on your email program.
For instance, look for "Can't access your account?" in Gmail and look for "I can't access my account" in Yahoo! Mail.
Clicking this link will take you to a page with several options.
Select the appropriate option to retrieve your email ID.
For instance, select "I forgot my username" in Gmail and "I forgot my Yahoo! ID" in Yahoo! Mail.

Enter the alternate email address you provided when you signed up for the email account.
You may have to enter other information as well, such as your date of birth, country of residence and zip code.

Go to the email account for the address you provided.
Open the account recovery message from your email service provider to view your username.
If your username is not provided, there should be a link.
Follow the directions included in the message to retrieve your username with this link.

Reset Your Password

Click the link beneath the log-in fields on your email account sign-in page.
In Hotmail, this link is titled "Forgot your password?" and "Trouble signing in?" in BigString.
Choose the relevant option on the following page to retrieve your password.

Type in your user ID and press the "Enter" key.
The email program automatically sends a message to your alternate email address.

Go to your alternate email account and open the message from your email service provider. Follow the directions in the message to reset your password.

In yahoo mail inbox page screen reader problem is appearing

Auto-save to Draft Yahoo! Mail Classic now saves the message you're working on (in Drafts) so you don't lose it in the event of a power outage, connection interruption or computer problem. And as always, you can save the most recent version by clicking Save Draft. Once you click Send to send the message, the draft is deleted from Drafts. To review it after that, just look in Sent! Downloading In most cases, downloading now requires only one click-on the attachment name in the message header. Stationery! Now you can choose the perfect background for any message. Click the far-right button on the Rich Text toolbar to view all your colorful stationery options. Message Header We made the From, To and Date information at the top of each email easier to read-and added the option to flag the message in the upper-left corner (click the flag). To view a message's full header, just click Full Header in the lower-right corner. One-click "Flag this message" Organize your most important messages! Just click the dot in the new Flag column-it's one over from the check-box column. If you're in the middle of reading a message you'd like to flag, click the gray flag in the upper-left corner of the window. Finally, if you want to see all your flagged messages grouped at the top of your Inbox (or any other folder), just click the flag at the top of the column. Bingo! Inline Signature If you've created a signature in More Options, you will now see it each time you open the Compose window to write a message. If you don't want to include it, just delete the signature text as you would any other text in your email. Or, if you'd rather not include a signature in any of your emails, click Options, select More Options, and under "Management", click Signature. Delete the text in the window to delete your signature, then click Save. Forward as Attachment You can still forward a message as an attachment by holding down the Ctrl button on the keyboard and clicking Forward. Mark as Unread When you're viewing a message, you'll now find Mark as Unread in the upper-right corner of the window. We did this to reduce clutter in the top middle area. Bulk Folder = Spam Folder We updated Bulk to Spam. Because, well, that's what it is! It functions just the same as before. Address Book = Contacts "Address Book" is "Contacts" in the new Yahoo! Mail Classic. Message Encoding You don't need to change message encoding through your browser anymore. Instead, just use the encoding pull-down menu in the lower-right corner of the page while you're viewing the message. In addition, you don't need to change the browser's encoding when you compose emails. Just type away! Rich-text/Plain-text link On the Compose page above the message window, you can click either Rich Text or Plain Text to select the format you prefer. Cc: on the Compose Page You don't have to click a link to open the Cc: line anymore. Now, it's always there--just waiting for whoever else you want to send your message to. :o) Folder Renaming and Deleting Rename and delete your personal folders more easily by clicking the folder on the left, then clicking either Rename or Delete next to the folder name at the top of the page. Flagged message and Attachment sorting Just click the column headings to group messages by what's flagged or has attachments. News Module Now you'll see the same News Module that currently appears in the all-new Yahoo! Mail. Mark as Spam Marking a message as Spam now moves messages to the Spam folder instead of Trash. Screen Reader Accessibility Yahoo! Mail Classic offers enhanced accessibility to screen readers.
And...

Features We Removed Details Today's tip Today's tip was on the Welcome page. Send an e-card The link on the Compose page is gone, but you can still send e-cards by visiting http://www.yahoo.americangreetings.com/ Avatar display You won't see your Avatar on the welcome page anymore when you log in. Instalist We've taken out the option to create a mailing list for recipients, which was on the "Message Sent" page. Here's how to create a category if you want to send to a group. Online Presence Indicator We removed the icon showing whether your contacts are online or offline with Yahoo! Messenger. Quickbuilder Was a way to scan your mailbox for people you hadn't added to your Contacts yet. It's gone, but anytime you send email to a new contact, you have the option to Add to Contacts on the "Message Sent" page. Add Mobile Alert If you want to get an alert on your Mobile Device when mail from a specific sender arrives, make sure your device is registered. And now, instead of clicking Add Mobile Alert (which used to appear in the From/To info area above an email), go to the Filters section of More Options to set this up. "Add to My" button We removed the icon at the bottom of the Inbox that enabled you to add an Inbox preview to your My Yahoo! page. Keyboard Shortcuts We removed Check Mail, Compose, and other keyboard shortcuts. (e.g. Control + Shift + P for Compose.) Save Message Text Gone: the link in message view that saves the text of an email. Attachment Preview This feature gave you the chance to view both Microsoft Word and Excel files as HTML pages. Now, it's gone-but many browsers give you the option to view (Open) an attachment without downloading it. To start, just click the attachment's name in the message header. After opening this page, go look for "Upload Via Email" there's your email personalized email address, note the email address shown therein and compose a message/mail from your email account, attach the photos you want to post into your facebook account and send it to the email address you just got from the "upload via email" it should look something like.. Can't print an email

  1. Open up Yahoo your Email, (either Classic or new version) click on your Inbox to view messages.
  2. Double click (or click on the subject line to open if using Yahoo email classic) the message that contains the desired message or photo you wish to print.
  3. Locate and click the "printer icon" (the picture looks like a printer) on the top of Yahoo email or go to the File menu at the top of your web browser and click "print."

If you are using Yahoo email classic, they have a selection (once you are inside of an email message) on the top--to the right of the screen that allows you to click "printable view."

A new window will open up and your entire email will appear. Click "print," which is underlined, at the top right of the screen.
  4. A dialog box will pop up and ask you to confirm, click the "OK" button on the bottom of the screen.
  5. Your entire yahoo email message should print out fully (not just the header). This is good for articles, messages and photos you wish to keep.
  6. Bear in mind that one page on the screen is not equivalent to one printed page, in fact, it may be quite a few more pages.

If you only wish to print one page: select file, print and click on the second radio button in front of "pages 1 of 1."

Or, specify 2 or 3, for example. If you know it will run into more pages.
Click the "OK" button at the bottom of the box to start printing.
You can always reprint if it doesn't print correctly.
  7. These steps will work for either Yahoo email classic or the newer version of Yahoo mail.

The delete function stopped working on outlook express

  • First, have you made sure that you are current with Windows Update patches and fixes? There are a bunch of nasty bugs in Outlook Express that can leave you open to attacks from specially formatted emails -- with or without attachments. Some viruses can be activated and spread to others just by viewing a message in the preview pane, but ONLY if you are using an old, unpatched version of Outlook.

  • Next, is your anti-virus protection up to date? If your service has expired, renew it ASAP. Or check with your ISP to see if they offer any free anti-virus software.

  • Try turning off the preview pane in Outlook (use View / Layout and UNcheck Show Preview Pane). Then right-click the offending message and select Delete.

  • Some users report success with pressing the Shift and Delete keys after highlighting the message. Note: This technique will delete the message without sending it to the Deleted Items folder.

  • Finally, it's possible that the undelete-able email does not contain any harmful content, but attempting to open it triggers a flaw in your anti-virus scanner. If you are certain that the email is a harmless message from a known person (and they are using anti-virus software), you could try suspending your anti-virus program, then attempt to delete the message.
