I can't answer this without knowing the original context of the problem. Could you request the same info as a followup comment to the original question? That will insure that I provide you with the correct information.

Thanks,

When i switch tv off I have to retune every time

Hello
Your TVs memory IC has damaged. Memory IC is one that stores the tuned channel details and other parameters of picture and sound settings. It is a very small IC, have 8 solder terminals and can be located very near to the main system control IC. It is cheap too to buy; and can be bought from most of the electronic spare part shops at your town. Just locate it, and note its number [number is very important]. Even though it is cheap to buy, and small in size, it is a critical component of your TV. The same number now installed must be used, otherwise set will not work properly. OK.

The green color is off. I am thinking that it is the auto convergence. I want to try to fix it my self (I love to do these kind of things) but I do not want to buy the wrong part.

This is a convergence output IC problem. convergence board would have to be removed - remove and replace 2 STK IC's and check the surrounding resistors. Shops usually charge between $200-$300
To Find the IC's look for 1 or 2 large (4in x4inx1in) aluminium heat sinks. the part # is labelled on the face of the IC itself

Colors separating...convergence issue

If you have any electronic soldering skills you can replace the convergence amp IC's which are part # STK 392-110. Buy the expensive IC's which are made by Sanyo and they last longer. You can buy these from www.encompassparts.com for about $30 each.
Buy some desoldering wick from radio shack to assist in removing the old IC's.

its far more likely that you need a new Vertical output IC. The convergence ICs wouldnt prevent the picture. When you have audio but no video it is often meaning vertical failure. Try replaceing the vertical IC

While Ginko's solution is correct, it is possible that the problem is simply poor solder connections at the ICs. If you can solder, try resoldering the pins on the ICs first. That may resolve the problem. Please note that there are potentially dangerous high voltages present even when the set is unplugged.

Also, If you post the model number, we can provide you with the part numbers etc.
